In Sons of the Forest, you’re given the task to find a missing billionaire on an eerily remote island. In true horror style, you’re surrounded by cannibalistic creatures throughout this environment. It’s up to you to survive this hellish island and complete your original task. You need to craft, build, and fight off danger at every turn.
The fantastic thing about Sons of the Forest is that your choice of play style is entirely up to you. You’re free to explore wherever you want, and you can do whatever you want! The game even features an immersive seasonal system, where certain food and resources only show up during specific times of the year.

Let’s go over some of her features.
Now, it’s up to you when it comes to how you interact with her. You can either scare her off, completely ignore her existence or try to gain her trust.
Luckily, you don’t have to actively seek her out. You’ll soon spot her watching you from afar, as she is extremely interested in who you are, and what you’re doing. If you decide to walk towards her, she’ll get pretty frightened at first, and will run away from you. However, the more she appears, and the more you approach her, she eventually starts to trust you.
It’s important to note that you should approach her with no items or tools in your hand – especially weapons. This will result in her being scared of you, so make sure you look trustworthy!
Once she starts to trust you, she will randomly appear in your house/base. You may find her relaxing in a chair, or taking a nap. She’ll join your party once she offers you an aloe vera flower!
You can’t tell Virginia what to do, as she acts freely. However, she does follow you around as you explore, and can be given weapons for combat.
