Slippery Slides is a minimalistic racing game that challenges you to win an endless series of races on a huge waterslide. Your character sits on top of an inflatable circle thing and has to use their skill to make it to the end faster than anyone else.

Along the way, you’ll find a wide variety of boosts to help you gain the upper hand. These are essential if you plan on winning your races. In this guide, we’re going to help you do just that. We’ll provide a bunch of tips and tricks to help you win more often than you lose.

Slippery Slides Tips and Tricks:

  • Boosts are everything: If you want to win in Slippery Slide, you’re going to need to hit literally every single boost you encounter. Miss just one, and it might be game over. That includes ramps and speed boosts – hit all of them. Seriously.
  • Spend your points on boost upgrades: Spending your points on a speed upgrade boosts your speed by 1% while a boost is 2%. Spend five points in both and you’ll get a 5% speed boost and a whopping 10% boost, err, boost. So early on, we recommend spending your points boosting your boost. You’ll notice the effect more and your boosts will turn nuclear.
  • Don’t hit an opponent from behind: Seriously, avoid all opponents and try and never bump one from behind. It’s like helping them to win. You’ll slow down while they’ll speed up and that totally sucks for you.
  • Do get hit from behind: However, it doesn’t suck if you do get hit from behind because you’ll get a speed boost and your opponent will get slowed. This is literally an essential tactic at the end of a race, when all of your opponents magically go much faster. Focus on blocking them from getting ahead while still hitting boosts.
  • Beat your daily tasks: You’ll get a bunch of rewards for completing your daily tasks and they’re pretty easy so just do them already.
