You need to land in the green glowing zones, not just get past them. Sure, you might have gone farther than the checkpoint, but if you don’t touch part of the zone you’ll get dropped back at the previous catapult and have to shoot again. If you do overshoot, try adding less power to your next try.
Flips and tricks – which you perform by swiping on the screen when you’re airborne – will give you extra coins. These can come in super handy when you’re upgrading your vehicle, so try and pull off as many as you can.
