Slap and Run Strategy Guide – Go Faster With These Hints, Tips and Cheats

By Harry Slater |

Slap and Run is one of those games that tells you exactly what you’re getting with the title. You slap people and you run. That said, there are a few complexities to the experience that might throw you off guard if you’re not careful.

And that’s where this guide comes in. We’ve dug deep into the squishy innards of Slap and Run and discovered a bunch of strategies that are going to help you take being physically violent to strangers to the next level.

Whether you’ve slapped a bunch of people or you’re just winding up for your first open-palmed thwack, there’s going to be something her to aid you in your quest. These are, after all, the best hints, tips and cheats for Slap and Run.

Slap ‘em all

You want to try and slap as many people as you possibly can. The more you slap, the more you’re going to increase your slap gauge, which will give you a speed boost when it’s full and let you keep ahead of all the angry people you’ve belted in the noggin.

Use the traps to your advantage

The people following you will react to your every move, and you can use that to your advantage. Dart to the left or right when you’ve passed a circular saw and you can send them all running into it. Killing chasers gets you more points as well.

Upgrade often

You should be spending your coins on upgrading your skills. Try and upgrade evenly, but make sure you’re adding to your acceleration booster whenever the option is there. The faster you can go, the more likely you are to get to the end of the level.

You can still die when you’re boosting

Boosting doesn’t make you invincible, it just makes you run a bit faster. That means you’re still going to have to pay attention to all the traps and obstacles the game is hurling in your direction – in fact, you’re going to have to pay closer attention.

Increase your cash?

The game gives you the option to watch videos to increase your cash. These aren’t really necessary, since you can watch videos to upgrade your skills anyway. For the most part you should be able to get by without the boost to your coffers the videos bring.
