Struggling to work out how to beat the Short Creepy Stories Krampus level? It’s quite confusing at first, especially when you’re trying to figure out how to progress the story!
Short Creepy Stories is a terrifying Roblox game that plays a bit like a mini version of Outlast. Armed with only a flashlight and a camera, you have to try and survive in a variety of miniature horror stories. There are a ton of puzzles to solve, creepy monsters to avoid, and jumpscares to be had. If you love Roblox and horror games, you will absolutely love this one.

It’s time for another Short Creepy Stories experience! However, this one is only available for a limited time, so you better get started before it disappears. The Krampus story will be available until January 10, so you’ve got plenty of time to hop in and explore.
When you first enter the Krampus story, you’ll be greeted with a narration that describes the creature. Once the notes have been read, they’ll disappear, giving you a larger view of your surroundings. You’re inside a house, decked out for Christmas festivities – but something isn’t quite right. You’re not entirely alone though, as you can knock on one of the closed doors to try to talk to your mum, but from the silence, it looks like she’s asleep.
It’s unusually quiet… and dark. That’s why your first task is turning on the lights by finding the light switches! While you’re looking for light switches, you may hear a thump here and there. But not to worry, it’s just Krampus wandering about…
As you explore the house, you’ll come across the kitchen. There’s a carton of milk on the dining table, so don’t forget to pick that up! In the living room, you’ll spot a creepy snowman looking in through the window. Interact with the radio for an unsettling piece of dialogue! There’s an additional page in the book that can be found next to the plate of biscuits – read this for the continuation of the Krampus tale.
At your own risk, you can look up the fireplace… but you’ll see the creature. This will then flick the book to another page, giving you an extra bit of the tale. Next, you’ll notice strange happenings occurring throughout the house, such as a musical fish, and a painting that drops – it’s also been written on, with the words “Don’t look back”. Beware, Krampus may be watching you through the windows…
Interact with the radio again, and check the book for a brand-new page. The tale is starting to become more specific to your situation – mysterious! The front door will get blown open ‘by the wind’, so make sure to close it quickly before the snow (and something else) gets in. Head out of the room and continue to explore before going back into the living room.
However, this time, the lights have been turned off. The only light source is the Christmas tree and candles, but it’s enough to give you a glimpse of the two ominous snowmen staring at you through the window. Interact with the radio once again, followed by the book!
If you start to hear a strange sound, make your way to the bathroom. As scary as it is, you’re going to have to open the shower curtain to find out what’s hiding in the bath! Luckily, there’s nothing in there. Although, once you turn around, Krampus will dash toward you. When the door’s closed, he’ll start knocking! It’s time again to interact with the radio and the book for the next part of the tale.
At some point, when walking past your mum’s bedroom, you’ll hear a loud crash and a scream. This prompts the main character to ask what’s happened – understandably. Head through the door that is opposite the mum’s bedroom and pick up the screwdriver from the table. Next, use the screwdriver to open the door… and you’ll find something you wish you hadn’t seen.
Krampus has burst through the window above the bed, with your mum nowhere to be seen. When he notices you, he quickly escapes through the window, and the light will turn off – interact with the light switch to turn the light back on!
Head back to the living room to listen to the next installment on the radio, and then read the next chapter of the book. Interact with the radio again to hear the broadcast say “Little boy, he found…”. As you walk into the hallway to get away from the snowmen at the window, Krampus will bust your door open. Your next task is to escape his clutches. The only way to do this is by avoiding him as he chases you around the house – you need to focus on getting out of the front door!
