Shiny hunting has been a term used for years in the Pokemon community. It’s no secret that Tales of Tanorio takes a lot of inspiration from the world-famous franchise, so a shiny hunting feature is to be expected!
Firstly, you need to know what to look for! In terms of the starter Shiny forms, Chewaqua changes from blue to purple, Rabush changes from green to pink, and Charcile’s red body turns into more of a burgundy shade, with the front of its body changing from yellow to white (as well as its crown!).
Shiny hunting the starter Tanorians is slightly different than you’d expect. A Shiny version of Rabush, Charcile, and Chewaqua can appear during the initial cutscene in the Tanaku Research Corporation building.
The cutscene introduces you to each starter, and if they match the descriptions in the section above, it’s a Shiny! Even if it isn’t the Shiny you want, I recommend going for it as it’s a rare find.
