Check out our tips and tricks for Scrapbook Paige.

At the beginning of the game you will be asked to choose between "Timed Mode" and "Relaxed Mode". Click on Relaxed Mode if you want to play without the timer. Click on Timed Mode if you want a bigger challenge.

Magnifying Glass

  • Items are very tiny in this game, luckily they provide you with a magnifying glass to help you look for objects. If you want to use the magnifying to zoom in on small items, you can right click your mouse on the screen. You can also simply click on the magnifying glass at the bottom of the page to use it.

Item Search

  • When looking for items do not forget to look at the hanging tags of each package since some items are hidden on there as well.
  • Sometimes you are asked to look for multiple pieces of the same item and some items will count as 2 when they are together. For example you are asked to look for 3 eggs, there is a nest with 2 eggs in it, when you click on it, it will take 2 eggs off your list and you’ll only need to search for 1 more.
  • Sometimes you may have to click an item twice because 2 of the things you are looking for are stuck together. For example, one of the clues asked me for an angel and a violin. There was a picture of an angel holding a violin so I had to click on the violin first and then on the angel to get both items.
  • Don’t think of items in their natural color only. For example, they asked for ladybugs, 2 of them were black and red and the last one was pink.
  • Look for items that blend in well with the background, like the sun against a yellow background, or an apple amongst a sea of red items.

HINTS

  • If you get stuck and need to find an item, you can click on a hint and the general area of the item will be highlighted for a short amount of time. If you want the hint to show a specific item, click on the item on the list that you want to find and then click on hint and the general area for that item will be shown to you.
  • Hints are unlimited but you do have to wait for the hint to refill itself before you can use it again. Since it only takes 30 seconds for the hint to refill you’ll never be lost long. There are no point penalties for using hints so feel free to use them as much as you need.
  • If you click on a hint more than once on the last item on your list, you will notice that different areas may be highlighted for the same item. This is because often there is more than one of the same item in a scene.A clue may ask you for one apple but there could be several apples in the scene so it doesn’t matter which one you click on as long as the answer is correct.
  • If you put your game in pause, the hint will keep counting down and you will not lose any time.
  • At times when you click on the hint, only part of the item will be in the section that’s highlighted. Make sure that you look on the outer edges of where the hint is showing you to ensure that you don’t miss anything.

RIDDLES

  •  In the find and seek areas you will be asked for an item in a form of a riddle. Once you figure out the riddle, you can look for the object in the scene.
  • The riddle will be written in red, in order to look at the riddle, you must click where it says "Riddle Item". Once you can see the riddle, you can close down the box by clicking on the red "x" on the top of the page or press "ESC" on your keyboard.
  • If you want to know where the riddle item is, all you have to do is open the riddle and then click on the hint, the general area of the item will be shown to you.
  • Please scroll down for the answers to all the riddles and the location of those items in the scene.

SPEED ROUNDS

  • Timed Mode – Every once in a while you will have to play a speed round in which you need to find a certain amount of like items in a short amount of time. The items could all be the same or they could have some kind of theme that ties them together.
  • You can still use the hints in this round but you will not be able to use too many since you have to wait 30 seconds for the hint to refill itself.
  • Relaxed Mode – If you’re playing in relaxed mode, you do not have to worry about the timer, you can find objects at your own pace and use the hints as much as possible.

SCRAPBOOK PAGES

  • At the end of each level you will be given a scrapbook page and you will be asked to add some missing embellishments to it.
  • You will need to click on the tabs that are on the right side of the page and find the items that are missing from the scrapbook page. The items that you need to look for will have a white outline around them.
  • You can click on the item you want to place on the page and it will be on your cursor, then simply click it on the area that you want to place it.
  • The items do not have to be rotated when you place them in the outline as long as it’s the right item it will fit. Keep in mind that the items will be around the same size on the page as they are in the tabs.
  • Once you fill in all the outlined items, you will be asked if you want to continue on to the next level or if you want to continue personalizing that page to earn more stars. To continue personalizing and earn more stars, click on "Scrapbook". To move on click on "Next Level".
  • In order to get all the stars keep adding items to the page with things that you like. As soon as you place a minimum amount of extra items on the page, the last star will appear. The more stars you have on a page the more points you will receive.
  • If you cannot find the items in time, it will ask you to try again and the 2nd time around you will have more time on your clock (timed mode only).
  • Some items will be on top of each other and they may look like one piece, make sure to click everything so you don’t miss anything.
  • If you place something on the page that you do not want, just grab the item and place it in the trash can icon that is on the top right side of the page.
  • Every scrapbook page you make is automatically saved when you click on "done". To view your scrapbook pages, click on "Gallery" and you’ll be able to scroll through all your creations.

PLACING ITEMS ON THE PAGE

Rotate Items

  • Once the item is on your cursor, you can right click it in order to rotate that item. You can also hold the "CTRL" key on the keyboard and click on the item to rotate it. When you use the "CTRL" key, click on the moue repeatedly until the item is facing the way you want.

Pick up and place items

  • To pick up items from the tray and place them on the page, click on the item and then on the part of the page that you want it to go on.
  • You can also click on the time and drag it to the page by holding it down with your mouse.

Swap accents or frames

  • You can click on the "Shift" key on your keyboard and then click on the item that you want to change.
