You can tame creatures to become your pets or mounts! Keep in mind that some creatures are not mountable. For a list of those that are mountable, there’s a section further down in this guide.

Taming Requirements

• Beaver
  • Beavers require Oak Logs
  • Unlocking the Beast Tamer subclass is not a requirement
• Green Slime
  • Green Slimes require Slime Chunks
  • Unlocking the Beast Tamer subclass is not a requirement
• Black Slime
  • Black Slimes require Black Ooze Chunks
  • Unlocking the Beast Tamer subclass is not a requirement
• Deer
  • Deer require Apples
  • Unlocking the Beast Tamer subclass is not a requirement
• Wolf
  • Wolves require Raw Deer Meat
  • Unlocking the Beast Tamer subclass is not a requirement
• Small Spider
  • Small Spiders require Mandrake Roots
  • Unlocking the Beast Tamer subclass is not a requirement
• Serpent
  • Serpents require Raw Salmon
  • You need to unlock the Beast Tamer subclass to tame a Serpent
• Mud Crab
  • Mud Crabs require Black Bass
