For us RollerCoaster Tycoons out there, there is nothing like a special event to get our hands on some new themed rides and decorations. If you haven’t guessed, the new event is Valentine themed which means we only have a limited time to get our hands on the new rides and decorations. Want to know more about the event, keep reading!

What’s New?

There are 31 new Valentine cards for us to collect, including one ride, two shops, nine decorations and more. It’s fair to say there is a lot to collect, but that’s not all. There is also a new scenario to contend with called Utilitarianism. In this scenario, you only have half your usual space, so placing down your rides has never been more important.

New Ride

As mentioned above, there is only one new ride in the Valentine event. It’s an Epic card called the Love Boat and is available in a wide range of packs if you are feeling impatient. If you are struggling to find it, look in the ride section under Family.

New Decorations

As with any seasonal event in RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch, there are several decorations to collect. Collecting all nine decorations will get you the special edition Valentine’s Day fence. There are nine decorations, three commons, three rares and three epics, each of which is as follows.

  • Cherry Blossom Tree
  • Bird House
  • Heart Topiary
  • Cupid Statue
  • Dancers Statue
  • Flower Arch
  • Gondola Pond
  • Love Monument
  • Swan Fountain

New Restaurant

The new restaurant is called the Chocolate Stand and is also rated rare in quality. It costs 2.5 million coins to put down, so unless you are in the later stages of your career this is not the card for you.

Anything else?

There are three new colours to unlock, they are called Raisin, Salmon and Love. It seems obvious what spectrum these colours will be on, pink and red. Lastly, there is the scenario which I mentioned earlier. Completing this scenario will give you the chance to win up to three new ride skins. SO if you are running out of things to do, this new scenario is well worth your time.
