The Rocket League Sideswipe new season is here, bringing with it a bunch of new features that liven up the experience. If you want to know more about exactly what they are, you’re in the right place. In this guide, we’re going to round up everything that’s new in the latest season.

Rocket League Sideswipe is a mobile version of the hit football game with cars. It takes place on a 2D plane, and sees you and an opponent trying to score in each other’s goal. All of the tricks and depth of the original make a return here too, including dodging, flying, and boosting.

You can learn more about it on the official site. If you’re just getting started, check out our Rocket League Sideswipe PC and Rocket League Sideswipe controller guides.

What Season Number Are We At Now?

First-things-first, we’re at season seven already! It really doesn’t feel like that long ago that Rocket League Sideswipe first graced us with its presence.

When Did Season Seven Launch?

What’s New In Season Seven?

Here are the new features that will arrive in Rocket League Sideswipe during the new season.

Collection Tab

You can now check a handy list of the items you’ve unlocked from your inventory, and you get rewards for ticking off lists of them. That’s satisfying.

Party Up!

Had a good match with a random? Well, now you have the option of tapping a button at the end of a match to invite your teammate to join you for another.

Goaltend Mutator

The popular Goaltend Mutator from Heatseeker has made a return in Private and Exhibition modes. It activates when you’re sitting in goal, and you can disable boost regen, jump regen, or both.
