Rider.io is a new game from Crescent Moon. It’s a multiplayer battle arena that sees you fighting it out against other players. The aim of the game? Kill everyone, upgrade your mount and pick up as many coins as you possibly can.
It’s not the most complex of experiences, but there are some hints, tips and tricks that are going to ensure you’re always at the top of the leaderboard. And, handily, we’ve included all of them in this here Rider.io guide.

You should be spending your coins on upgrading your arrows. How do you do that? Well, every new arrow you buy is at level one. Merge two level one arrows and you’ll get a level two. It gets expensive the higher the level, since you need to combine multiple arrows just to get to the next upgrade.
Whenever you’ve got enough coins to buy a new arrow, spend them. You might not be able to upgrade straight away, but it’ll mean you’ve got a stock of arrows ready to merge when it’s time.
Even though you’ve got a bow and arrow, the range of your weapon isn’t enormous. And if you miss a shot, you lose an arrow. That’s why it’s a good idea to get as close as possible to your target before you start blasting.
If you’re far away, charge forwards firing arrows and miss with them all, you’ll be easy pickings for your foe when you get closer and don’t have any ammo. Play smart and you’ll be able to kill your enemies with ease.
Chest monsters are a great way to level up quickly. You level up your mount with coins, and picking some up without having to take on a player will make you stronger when you need to attack.
You’ll also get coins from kills, and you’ll find them littered around the arena as you fight. Take a moment to grab as many as you can, because the more powerful your mount, the better chance you have of winning a fight.
Don’t waste your super move when you’re too far away for it to be effective. Instead, when you’re charging a foe, use your dodge to get closer without taking any damage and then unleash your super move to take them out.
Early mounts don’t have super moves, so make sure you’ve actually got one before you jump forwards. Super moves can also hit more than one player at once, so they’re really useful when there’s a fight going on.
