Resurrection: New Mexico – Game Introduction

Welcome to the Resurrection, New Mexico Collector’s Edition walkthrough on Gamezebo. Resurrection, New Mexico Collector’s Edition is a Hidden Object Game played on the PC created by Media Art. This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints and a strategy guide on how to complete Resurrection, New Mexico Collector’s Edition.

General Tips

This hidden object game requires visiting several locations and using inventory items to advance play.

  • Play is linear. The story dictates game play, items to find and locations to visit. The thoughts of the main character are frequently displayed to provide game direction.
  • Read the logbook for location or character goals. Additional story items are also added.
  • Always move the cursor around a scene. Watch the cursor to see if it changes into a hand or magnifying glass.

Main Menu:

  • Play – Begin or resume a game.
  • Options – Change music and sound effects volume. You may select or deselect full screen and a custom cursor.
  • Profiles —Create, delete or switch player profiles.
  • Exit – Quit the game.
  • Extras – Music, concept art, wallpapers, screensavers, brain teaser mini-games and bonus play are only available after completing the game.

Screen Navigation:

  • Menu — Change your options, resume the game or return to the main menu.
  • Hint/Skip Bar — Clicking will show a random item from an itemized list. Hints are not limited and the bar refills quickly. The bar turns into a Skip bar for puzzles.
  • Logbook — Clicking an object can add clues or information. The diary glows when new information is added. It also contains goals for a location or a character.
  • Inventory/Item List — A scrollable list of icons showing available items or a list of hidden items to be collected.

Symbol Meanings:

  • Eye — Zoom in on interactive area.
  • Hand – Interact with an object: pick up an item, open a door or move an object.
  • Sparkles — Hidden object areas.

Walkthrough

A short clip explains the background and introduces the story line for play.

If you are not familiar with hidden object games, click “Yes” when asked if you would like a tutorial. This will show you how to interact with objects and characters.

A hint for finding items in the hidden object scenes: always look around the outside of the scene.

Chapter 1: The Elderly Man

 New Mexico
  • Peek through the eye hole in the door to answer the knocking (A). Click the eye at the end of the hallway.
  • Read the message that is slid under the door (B).
  • Inspect the night stand (C).
  • Click the light switch to turn on the lamp. Open the drawer and take the NEWSPAPER.
  • Pick up the cell phone (D).
 New Mexico
  • Play the hidden object scene on the dresser.
  • Find the listed objects. The NAIL FILE and the SMALL GEAR (1/6) are retained in inventory.
  • Zoom in on the door again.
  • Place the NEWSPAPER on the floor. Click it to slide it under the door.
  • Insert the NAIL FILE in the keyhole.
  • Click the NEWSPAPER to retract it. Collect the KEY.
  • Insert the KEY in the keyhole. Click the key to open the door.
 New Mexico
  • Pick up the PHONE DISPLAY and PHONE FRAME (A).
  • Inspect the baseboard (B).
  • Click the carpet to lift it. Take the MEMORY CARD and CARD COVER.
  • Exit to the hallway.
 New Mexico
  • Click the poster of the eye at the end of the hallway (A) to read the message. Yellow TAPE is automatically added to inventory.
  • Go right to the entryway.
  • Pick up the PHONE BUTTONS on the floor (B).
  • Return to the room.
  • Pick up the BROKEN PLIERS on the radiator (C).
  • Zoom in on the phone base (D) to open a puzzle.
 New Mexico
  • Reconstruct the cell phone in the following order.
  • Insert the PHONE BUTTONS (1), DISPLAY (2) and FRAME (3) in the base (A).
  • Put the MEMORY CARD (4) and CARD COVER (5) in the side of the base (B).
  • Take the UNCHARGED PHONE (C).
  • Drag the TAPE to the BROKEN PLIERS in the inventory box (D). They combine to form PLIERS.
  • Return to the front door.
  • Use the PLIERS to remove the nails from the boards covering the door.
  • Go outside.
 New Mexico
  • View the above screenshot to get your bearings.
  • Go forward to the brick wall. View the cut scene. Click down to return to the outside of the hostel.
  • Go right to the elderly man’s residence.
  • Pick up the pile of WOOD on the right side of the street.
  • Enter the first door on the left.
  • Click the staircase to open a hidden object scene.
 New Mexico
  • Find the listed objects. The MATCHES are retained in inventory.
  • Exit the house.
 New Mexico
  • Speak to the the man to trigger a hidden object scene (A).
  • Find the listed objects. The KEY is retained in inventory.
  • Inspect the door on the left (B).
  • Use the KEY on the padlocked garage door.
 New Mexico
  • Remove the cloth covering the DRILL (A).
  • Pick up the EMPTY LANTERN and WINDMILL SAIL (1/6) (B).
  • Zoom in on the ladder to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to remove all of the chains by taking the top chain each time. See the next screen shot for the solution.

  • The numbers correspond to the order in which the chains are removed.
  • Take the LADDER.
  • Go forward toward the car.
 New Mexico
  • Pick up the WINDMILL SAIL (A).
  • Read the document on the car (B).
  • Inspect the newspaper on the chair (C). Click the newspaper three times to get a PIECE OF PAPER for inventory.
  • Return to the house.
 New Mexico
  • Place the PIECE OF PAPER in the fireplace (A). Add the WOOD. Light a fire with the MATCHES.
  • Play the hidden object scene by the box (B).
 New Mexico
  • Find the listed objects. The six SCREWS are retained in inventory.
  • Go up the staircase to the second floor.
 New Mexico
  • Look closer at the telephone (A).
  • Inspect the jar on the shelf (B). Take the MEDIUM GEAR (1/2).
  • Play the hidden object scene in the closet (C).
  • Find the listed objects. The Spray Can is added to inventory as RUST REMOVER.
  • Go forward into the bedroom.
  • Play the hidden object scene under the bed (D).
  • Find the listed objects. The Symbol Disc is added to inventory as a DISC.
  • Exit the house.
  • Examine the door across the street.
  • Use the RUST REMOVE on the lock.
  • Enter the house.
 New Mexico
  • Pick up the EMPTY JUG by the sink (A).
  • Place the EMPTY JUG in the sink. Click the handle to turn on the water. Take the JUG WITH WATER.
  • Take the SMALL GEAR (2/6) from the table (B).
  • Play the hidden object scene in the shelves (C).
  • Find the listed objects. The KNIFE is retained in inventory.
  • Return to the main street.
  • Go to the left.
  • Follow the path to the Chesterbrooks’ front yard.
  • Click the bucket by the wheelbarrow. Take the DUSTER.
  • Click the stone in front of the basement door. Take the KEY from the nook to the right of the door.
  • Use the KEY to open the basement door.
  • Use the DUSTER on the dirty window to get some light.
 New Mexico
  • Take the CUP from the peg on the beam (A) and the AXE HANDLE from the shelf.
  • Use the KNIFE to open the bag of chicken feed (B).
  • Remove the straw from the nest (C) to get the SMALL GEAR (3/6).
  • Use the CUP to drain the water from the bowl (D). Take the AXE HEAD.
  • Combine the AXE HANDLE and AXE HEAD in inventory to get an AXE.
  • Click down.
  • Use the AXE to chop through the door.
 New Mexico
  • Play the hidden object scene by the wheelbarrow (A).
  • Find the listed objects. The KEROSENE is retained in inventory.
  • Click down to return to the path crossroads.
  • Pick up the HANGER (B).
  • Go forward to the collapsed bridge (C).
  • Use the KNIFE to cut the rope on the tire (D). The ROPE automatically goes to inventory.
  • Play the hidden object scene by the bridge supports (E).
  • Find the listed objects. The WINDMILL SAIL (3/6) is retained in inventory.
  • Return to the main street.
  • Go forward to the school.
  • Pick up the WINDMILL SAIL (4/6).
  • Return to the garage.
 New Mexico
  • Inspect the keypad on the cage door (A) to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to guess the two missing numbers to open the door. The solution is 7-3-8-2-4-6-1.
  • Play the hidden object scene in the locker.
  • Find the objects listed. The Sail is added to inventory as WINDMILL SAIL (5/6).
  • Go forward toward the car.
  • Combine the KEROSENE and the EMPTY LANTERN in inventory.
  • Place the LANTERN on the car to open a hidden object scene.
  • Drag the light around to find the 12 road signs. Receive a WINDMILL SAIL (6/6) as a reward.
  • Exit the garage.
  • Look closer at the top of the windmill at the end of the street.
 New Mexico
  • Erect the LADDER on the side of the windmill (1).
  • Replace the missing six WINDMILL SAILS (2).
  • Secure the sails with the SCREWS (3).
  • Use the DRILL to fasten the screws (4).
  • Return to the bedroom on the second floor of the house.
 New Mexico
  • Zoom in on the charger by the bureau (A).
  • Place the UNCHARGED PHONE on the floor. Drag the charger cord to the phone. Check the messages.
  • Exit the house.
  • Give the elderly man the phone (B). Receive an AMULET.
  • Return to the main street.
  • Go forward to the brick wall.
  • Place the AMULET in the top left spot.

Chapter 2: The Shopkeeper

 New Mexico
  • Approach the shop on the left side of the main street (A).
  • Play the hidden object scene in the debris pile (B).
  • Find the listed objects. The BOLT CUTTERS are retained in inventory.
  • Exit the location.
  • Follow the path to the left of the street to the Chesterbrooks’ house.
  • Use the BOLT CUTTERS on the gate chain.
  • Go up to the porch. Approach the door and ring the bell.
 New Mexico
  • Look closer at the cupboard (A). Open the door and take the SMALL GEAR (4/6).
  • Click the cards on the table (B) to open a match-the-pattern puzzle.
 New Mexico
  • The goal is to find the card in the arrangement that matches the current card (A). A correct match eliminates the two cards. An incorrect match will deal a new card from the deck (B). Continue matching until all cards are eliminated.
  • Read the fortunes Mrs. Chesterbrooks gives for clues to the story.
  • Open the refrigerator door to open a puzzle.
 New Mexico
  • The goal is to rearrange the items to find the sausage.
  • The squares on the back of the food show how high and wide an item can be. Items spanning more than one square must have all squares beneath them filled. Swap the items to move the milk container over one space to reveal the SAUSAGE. One solution is shown in the above inset
  • Exit to the porch.
  • Examine the trunk to open a slider puzzle.
  • The goal is to move the tiles horizontally or vertically to clear enough space to slide the two locks inward.
  • One solution is shown in the next screen shot.
 New Mexico
  • Once the path is cleared as shown above, slide the two lock parts forward.
  • Opening the lock triggers a hidden object scene.
 New Mexico
  • Find the listed objects. The Disk is saved in inventory as a safe DISC.
  • Return to the shop.
  • Give the dog the SAUSAGE to gain entry.
 New Mexico
  • Talking to the shopkeeper (A) triggers a hidden object scene (B).
  • Find the listed objects. The BIG GEAR is added to inventory.
  • Go straight (C).
  • Look at the document on the floor.
  • Go through the door to the office.
  • Play the hidden object scene on the computer.
 New Mexico
  • Find the listed objects. The TAPE and KEY are added to inventory.
  • Exit the office.
  • Go down the stairs to the basement.
  • Pick up the MEDIUM GEAR (2/2) from the floor.
  • Insert the KEY in the padlock on the door. Open the door.
  • Go back upstairs.
  • Zoom in on the display case to open a hidden object scene.
 New Mexico
  • Find the 12 objects that don’t belong in the scene.
  • Receive a pair of GLOVES.
  • Exit the shop.
  • Take the path on the left to the collapsed bridge.
  • Examine the pile of sticks to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to eliminate the matching pairs of sticks until there is only one left. Hint: the matching pair are usually the top two sticks.
  • Take the remaining STICK.
  • Return to the grate in the path in front of the sheriff’s office.
  • Use the STICK to retrieve the BUTTON.
  • Return to the shop. Zoom in on the shopkeeper.
 New Mexico
  • Inspect the cash register.
  • Insert the BUTTON in the empty slot (A).
  • Open the drawer by solving the equations on the outside of the drawer (B) from left to right. Key the result of the equations in by depressing the correct number on the keypad. Click the green button again to enter the code and open the drawer (C). Take the DISC.
  • Solution: 9-3-0-2.
  • Return to the office.
 New Mexico
  • Zoom in on the safe (A).
  • Place the two DISCs on the dial.
  • Look closer at the certificate (B). Note the numbers.
  • Return to the safe.
  • Click each dial to move the groove over a number until they match the numbers on the certificate.
  • Solution: small dial – 30; middle dial -10; large dial – 80.
  • Play the hidden object scene inside. Find the 12 coins. See the follow screen shot for the solution.
 New Mexico
  • Once the coins are collected, take the MONEY stacks.
  • Return to the shopkeeper.
  • Give the MONEY to the shopkeeper. Receive an AMULET.
  • Read the message on the phone.
  • Exit the shop.
  • Go to the brick wall.
  • Place the AMULET in the second slot on the left on the altar.

Chapter 3: The Young Man

 New Mexico
  • Return to the outside of the shop.
  • Examine the power box on the left side of the building (A). Take the SMALL GEAR (5/6).
  • Take the path to the collapsed bridge (B).
  • Play the hidden object scene at the bridge (C).
 New Mexico
  • Find the listed objects. The SMALL GEAR (6/6) and MAGNET are added to inventory.
  • Look closer at the manhole cover. Remove the cover to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to connect the six SMALL GEARS, two MEDIUM GEARS and the LARGE GEAR with the fixed gears in such a way as all are turning.
  • See the next screen shot for the solution.
 New Mexico
  • There may be other solutions to this puzzle.
  • Enter the storm drain.
 New Mexico
  • Inspect the drain on the right (A).
  • Combine the ROPE and MAGNET in inventory to get a ROD.
  • Use the ROD to extract the KEY.
  • Look closer at the fuse box on the left (B).
  • Insert the KEY in the fuse box lock. Open the box and take the 2 FUSES.
  • Go forward to the gate (C).
  • Pick up the CROWBAR by the gate.
  • Examine the lock on the gate to open a puzzle.
 New Mexico
  • The goal is to find the patterns in the lines.
  • Solve the three smaller patterns first (A, B and C). Each time one of them is solved, a panel in the middle pattern is unlocked. Solve the middle panel to unlock the gate.
  • The best strategy is to start with the left end panel. Use the up or down arrow to scroll through the patterns. Find a pattern that only has lines that continue to the right. The right end panel pattern will be the same as the left. Match the lines between the two end panels.
  • The solution is shown in the following screen shot.

  • Solving the patterns unlocks the gate.
  • Go forward and watch the cut scene.
 New Mexico
  • Zoom in on the lock.
  • Use the CROWBAR to pry off the lock cover and open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to retract all the pins to open the door.
  • Begin with the first pin. A pin must be fully retracted before the lock pick can move forward. Continue to click the pins until all are retracted and the pick is at the far right.
  • Exit the cell. Speak to the man in the neighboring cell.
  • Exit the sheriff’s office.
  • Return to the garage.
 New Mexico
  • Play the hidden object scene on the lower shelves (A).
  • Find the listed objects. The PLIERS are retained in inventory.
  • Return to the outside of the shop.
  • Play the hidden object scene by the trash can (B).
  • Find the listed objects. The PICKAXE is retained in inventory.
  • Look closer at the power box.
 New Mexico
  • Follow the instructions on the wall to turn the power on.
  • Place the GLOVES on the power switch (1) and drag it downward.
  • Use the PLIERS to connect the wires (2).
  • Mend the wires with TAPE (3).
  • Insert the two FUSES in the empty slots (4).
  • Put the GLOVES over the power switch and drag it upward (G).
  • Enter the shop.
  • Play the hidden object scene in the sale bin.
 New Mexico
  • Find the listed objects. The FLASHLIGHT and BOX CUTTER are retained in inventory.
  • Go forward and down the stairs to the basement.
 New Mexico
  • Use the FLASHLIGHT to find the power box on the right (A). Flip the switch to turn the lights on.
  • Pick up the BROOM (B).
  • Inspect the box (C). Use the BOX CUTTER to open the lid. Take the RECIPE BOOK.
  • Attempt to leave.
  • Use the BROOM to remove the insects on the door (D).
  • Go upstairs.
  • Play the hidden object scene in the herb and vegetable bins.
 New Mexico
  • Match the leaves or flowers in the object list with those in the display.
  • Receive HERBS and HEALING GRAINS.
  • Return to Mrs. Chesterbrooks.

 New Mexico

  • Speak with Mrs. Chesterbrooks on her porch.
  • Pick up the clock (A) on the table beside her. It falls to the porch. Retrieve the BATTERY (B).
  • Enter the kitchen and play the hidden object scene in the cabinets (C).
  • Find the listed objects. The RECIPE PAGE is added to inventory.
  • Return to the street in front of the elderly man’s home.
 New Mexico
  • Play the hidden object scene in the trash pile (A).
  • Find the listed objects. The DIAL is added to inventory.
  • Enter the kitchen (B).
  • Play the hidden object scene under the sink (C).
  • Find the listed objects. The SCREWDRIVER is added to inventory.
  • Zoom in on the counter.
 New Mexico
  • Place the RECIPE BOOK on the book stand (A). Insert the RECIPE PAGE.
  • Follow the recipe directions.
  • Pour the contents of the JUG WITH WATER into the PAN (1).
  • Place the PAN WITH WATER on the burner (2).
  • Put the HERBS on the cutting board (3). Chop them up with the KNIFE (4).
  • Add the CHOPPED HERBS to the pan (5).
  • Put the HEALING GRAINS in the mortar and pestle (6).
  • Add the MILLED GRAINS to the pan (7).
  • Pour the mixture from the pan into the cup (8).
  • Take the SLEEPING AID.
  • Return to the sheriff’s office.
 New Mexico
  • Zoom in on the desk (A).
  • Pour the SLEEPING AID into the mug.
  • Return to the desk after the cut scene (B).
  • Take the PRISON CELL KEYS.
  • Use them to open the cell door.
  • Speak to the young man. Receive an AMULET.
  • Read the message on the cell phone.
  • Return to the altar.
  • Place the AMULET on the right center slot (B).

Chapter 4: Mrs. Chesterbrooks

 New Mexico
  • Return to the room in the hostel.
  • Inspect the wall safe (A).
  • Place the DISC in the slot. Click to open the safe.
  • Take the HANDLE and read the scroll.
  • Return to the garage.
  • Move the curtain by the locker (B).
  • Use the PICKAXE to smash the bricks on the wall.
  • Take the SPEAKER.
  • Return to the sheriff’s office.
  • Go through the door on the right.
 New Mexico
  • Open the bottom drawer of the filing cabinet (A). Read the green-tabbed folder.
  • Play the hidden object scene on the desk (B).
  • Find the listed objects. The BALANCE DISH is retained in inventory.
  • Return to the shop.
  • Go down to the basement.
  • Place the BALANCE DISH on the scale to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to arrange the boxes on the shelf from heaviest to lightest.
  • The best strategy is to place a box on one scale. Add another box. Remove the box that is the lightest. Repeat this process with each box. Put the heaviest box on the shelf and begin the process again.
  • The solution is shown in the next screen shot.
 New Mexico
  • Receive five DOLLs in inventory.
  • Go back upstairs.
  • Go to the front counter area.
  • Zoom in on the windows on the left to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to find the doll named “Andrea”.
  • Follow the clues on the side. Place each doll based on the clues.
  • The following screen shot shows the solution.
 New Mexico
  • The correct DOLL is added to inventory.
  • Go to the school.
  • Give the DOLL to the girl in the window.
  • Enter the building.
  • Look at the drinking fountain on the right. Take the COVER.
  • Enter the door on the left.
 New Mexico
  • Look at the clipping on the wall (A). Make a note of the numbers: 593.
  • Read the note on the table (B).
  • Examine the radio on the table (C) to open a puzzle.
 New Mexico
  • Drag the HANGER, BATTERY, DIAL, SPEAKER and COVER from their numbered inventory spots to their corresponding place on the radio. The cover goes over the battery.
  • Click the dial until the frequency indicator is in the approximate place as the red line to hear a message.
  • The assembled RADIO goes to inventory.
  • Return to the hallway.
 New Mexico
  • Inspect the lockers (A).
  • Use the arrows to set the numbers on the combination to that from the newspaper article: 5-9-3.
  • Play the hidden object scene in the locker.
  • Find the listed objects. The KEY is retained in inventory.
  • Return to the sheriff’s office.
 New Mexico
  • Look at the mailbox by the front door (A).
  • Use the KEY to open the box. Take the LETTER.
  • Return to Mrs. Chesterbrooks’ house and give her the letter (B).
  • Accept the AMULET.
  • Read the newest text message on the phone.
  • Go to the altar.
  • Place the AMULET in the upper right slot (C).

Chapter 5: The Little Girl

 New Mexico
  • Return to the school.
  • Enter the radio room on the left.
  • Tear off the wallpaper to expose a door.
  • Put the HANDLE on the door. Go through to the hallway.
  • Play the hidden object scene in the locker (A).
  • Find the listed objects. The STOOL LEG is retained in inventory.
  • Inspect the broken table (B). Affix the STOOL LEG.
  • Look at the window (C). Place the RADIO on the window ledge.
  • Enter the classroom (D).
 New Mexico
  • Speak to the little girl (A).
  • Inspect the electrical outlet (B).
  • Use the SCREWDRIVER to remove the plate.
  • Take the RING.
  • Return to the sheriff’s office.
  • Enter the door on the right.
 New Mexico
  • Look closer at the globe.
  • Insert the RING in the slot on the globe (A).
  • Take the AMULET (B).
  • Return to the altar. Place the AMULET in the lower right slot (C).
  • Return to the school.
  • Go through to the classroom.
 New Mexico
  • Play the hidden object scene in the shelves (A).
  • Find the listed objects. The BIRD is added to inventory.
  • Return to Mrs. Chesterbrooks’ house.
  • Zoom in on the jewelry box on the table (B).
  • Put the BIRD on the top of the box to open it. Take the PEARLS.
  • Return to the classroom.
  • Give the PEARLS to the little girl (C) and take the AMULET.
  • Follow the little girl out of the school to the main street.

  • Pick up the AMULET in the street (A).
  • Go to the altar.
  • Place the last two AMULETS in the slots (B) and (C).

Congratulations! You have completed playing Resurrection, New Mexico Collector’s Edition. The bonus content is now available from the main menu.

Bonus Chapter

 New Mexico
  • Look closer at the peg board (A). Take the PEGS (2/4).
  • Pick up the NECKLACE on the floor (B). This triggers a hidden object area (C).
  • Play the hidden object scene. Find the listed objects. The ROPE LADDER is retained in inventory.
  • Place the ROPE LADDER against the window (D) and attempt to exit.
  • Descend through the expanded hole in the floor (E).
  • Take the right tunnel.
  • Pick up the PEG (3/4) on the cavern floor.
  • Examine the bridge. Pick up the PEG (4/4).
  • Return to the tunnel entrance.
 New Mexico
  • Place the four PEGS in the center of the column.
  • Examine the mural to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to slide the tiles into the correct position.
  • Move tile (A) into the center position. Now all the tiles are in the correct order.
  • Slide all of the tiles until tile (B) is positioned in the upper right corner (C). Each correctly placed tile turns blue.
  • Collect the MAGIC STONES.
  • Head down the right tunnel.
 New Mexico
  • Insert the MAGIC STONES in the grooves on the right (A) and the left (B) sides of the chamber.
  • Enter the left tunnel (C).
  • Play the hidden object scene.
 New Mexico
  • Find the listed objects.
  • The GOLF BALL RETRIEVER is retained in inventory.
  • Return to the basement.
  • Play the hidden object scene by the broken cabinet.
 New Mexico
  • Find the listed objects. The BROOM is retained in inventory.
  • Return to chamber with the magic stones.
  • Enter the right tunnel.
  • Combine the BROOM and GOLF BALL RETRIEVER in inventory to form a LONG BALL RETRIEVER.
  • Use the retriever to attempt to get the doll out of the box.
 New Mexico
  • Look at the remains of the broken bridge (A).
  • Pick up the WOODEN PLANK and ROPE.
  • Play the hidden object scene (B).
  • Find the listed objects. The SLINGSHOT is retained in inventory.
  • Examine the stones on the wall (C) to open a puzzle.

  • The goal is to use the center ring to swap pebbles until all of the same color pebbles are in one row.
  • The row/color combination is not important. The best strategy is to look at the last color in the beginning mixed colors and use that as the basis for storing the other colors. This will cause fewer moves. It is also easiest to sort one color at a time.
  • Enter the serpent’s lair.
  • Play the hidden object scene. Find the listed objects. The BULLET that looks remarkably like a rock is retained in inventory.
  • Return to the cavern.

  • Put the WOODEN PLANK on the chest (A).
  • Combine the SLINGSHOT and BULLET in inventory.
  • Aim the SLINGSHOT WITH BULLET at the crack in the rock (B).
  • Play the hidden object scene in the newly opened trunk (C). The RUBY is added to inventory.
  • String the ROPE between the two rocks (D).
  • Examine the carving (E).
  • Insert the RUBY in the missing slot. Click the carving.
  • Cross the bridge into the cavern.
  • Enter the left tunnel.
  • Play the hidden object scene in the baskets. The LEVER is added to inventory.
  • Return to the cavern. Click down to return to the tunnel entrance.
  • The left tunnel is now accessible.
 New Mexico
  • Zoom in on the device in the recess (A).
  • Insert the LEVER in the slot. Attempt to pull the lever.
  • Go down the right tunnel (B) to the cavern.
  • Enter the right tunnel to play a hidden object scene (C).
  • Find the listed objects. The SHOVEL is added to inventory.
  • Return to the basement (down three times).
 New Mexico
  • Use the SHOVEL to fill the sack with coal (A). Take the WHEELBARROW.
  • Return to the tunnel entrance.
  • Place the WHEELBARROW next to the device (B). Click the lever.
  • Go up the ladder to the evidence room (C).
  • Examine the locker.
  • Climb back down the ladder.
  • Take the right tunnel to the cavern. Enter the right tunnel to the storeroom.
  • Play the hidden object scene by the locks. Get a KEY.
  • Return to the evidence room.
 New Mexico
  • Use the KEY to unlock the padlock. Examine the contents of the locker (A).
  • Return to the serpent’s lair.
  • Play the hidden object scene (B). Receive a RING.
  • Return to the evidence room.
  • Place the RING in the slot on the globe. Take the NECKLACE. The RING is automatically returned to inventory.
  • Exit the evidence room.
  • Take the right tunnel to the cavern.
  • Enter the left tunnel.
 New Mexico
  • Look behind the sofa (A).
  • Open the jewelry box and put the NECKLACE inside (B). The BIRD is automatically added to inventory.
  • Take the RADIO (C).
