TIMED AND RELAXED MODE

When you first open the game and choose your name, you will be asked whether you want to play in Relaxed Mode or Timed mode. If you play in Relaxed Mode you can take your time and not have to worry about the clock. There are no penalties for clicking randomly in Relaxed Mode.
If you choose the Timed Mode you will have to work against the clock. In Timed mode you get penalized for random clicking by losing time off your clock. When you click randomly Dr. Fraud will appear on the screen and will tell you that you need a random shot, the screen will go dark and you will lose 15 seconds off your clock, which can be a lot when you only have a couple of minutes for each scene.
If you don’t complete a scene in time you will have to restart it with new objects to look for.

MENU

The menu function can be hard to see in this game since it does not have the typical menu button somewhere in the scene.
To access the menu, click on the word "pause" at the bottom of the page and you will get the following options to choose from.
1-Resume-It takes you back to the game.
2-Options-From this section you can adjust the music volume, the sound fx volume, adjust the visual quality of the game and decide whether you want to play the game in fullscreen or not.
3-Menu- It will take you back to the main page and you can exit from there.
4-Restart (Just this level)-Click on this option when you wish to restart just the last level that you were on, not the whole chapter. It will give you a chance to try again with new items to look for.
Dead Diary-The dead diary is located at the bottom left side of the scene. Click on it and you will be able to read the story from the beginning. The story will only go up to parts that you’ve unlocked.

HINTS/ROSES

You will start the game with 3 hints. You can earn extra hints by finding the roses that are scattered throughout each scene. Each scene contains an average of 2 to 3 roses.
The only scenes that do not have roses are the ones in which you have to do the anagrams.
You can accumulate a lot of hints in this game if you look carefully for the roses, since some of them are very well hidden. The only thing you might see is a faint shadow or an outline of a rose.
The good thing about the hints is that they go with you from chapter to chapter so you can save them and use them for when you need them the most.
The only time you cannot use a hint is in the scenes in which you have to solve the anagrams.
To use a hint, simply click on the hint button at the bottom of the page and the item you are looking for will be highlighted in the scene. If you use a hint in one of the scenes in which all you have is a spotlight, the item will glow through the dark spots, which makes it so easy to spot.

HIDDEN ITEMS

In some scenes you will have to look for items by finding the items on the list at the bottom of the page. As you find each item it will disappear from the list and the object will disappear from the page.
Make sure that you look for the roses that are in each scene since it allows you to earn extra hints. Each scene has an average of 2 to 3 roses.
In some puzzles you will have to find 20 of the same type of items. A small image of the item you need to find, will be located on the bottom right side of the page.
Some of those items can be hard to see so it is best to look very carefully in those scenes since the items blend into the background very well.

HEXAGON AND RECTANGLES

There are some puzzles in which you need to look for items by looking at sections of a picture. These pictures will either be divided by rectangles or hexagons but they work in the same way.
At the bottom of the page you will have 10 or 12 rectangle or hexagon sections of the picture above. You must correctly identify the pictures at the bottom in the main scene.
Some section can be hard to find if the section has a lot of things going on so always try to look for slight markings that can help you identify the image, a spot, a special color or curve that is unique to that section.
When you find the right sections, it will glow on the page and that section at the bottom of the page will disappear. However, the section that you found in the main page will remain intact.
Use your hints on these puzzles for the pieces that are very hard to identify.

SILHOUETTES /SILHOUETTES WITH SPOTLIGHTS

In some of the scenes you will be asked to look for items by simply looking at their silhouette instead of looking for items from a list.
Look at the bottom of the page and you will see the items that you need to look for. The items will be darkened but you can still look at the general shape of it.
Keep in mind that when you look for these items in the scene, they may not be facing in the scene the same way as they are in the silhouette.
If you have a hard time finding an item, you can always use your hints to make it easier.
You will get a few scenes in which you have to look for the silhouette items in a dark room room, and all you can see is what the spotlight shows you. These scenes work in the same way as the regular scenes except that you can only see a small part at a time.
In the spotlight scenes, the hint function works really well since the item that you need will glow through the dark spots.

ANAGRAMS

By definition an anagram is a play on words in which you take a word or phrase and rearrange those same letters to form another word or phrase. In some instances anagrams are formed by reversing the order of the letters. In the case of this game, you will simply rearrange the words that are given to you to form other words.
You will be given a phrase at the bottom of the page. On top of the page you will have some blank slots. Some slots have colors underneath them and other don’t.
You must drag the letters from the bottom of the page onto the top of the page so that the letters once arranged form a new phrase.
The slots that have colors on them will only accept letters whose colors match. So that right there helps you eliminate having to do too much guessing about the word.
Once a letter has been placed correctly, it will light up on the board and lock into place.

CHAPTER 1 – ENCASED IN IVY

GET RID OF GERMS

On the lower right side you will see the number "20" and a picture of the germs that you need to get rid of, click on each germ to eliminate it.
There are 2 roses in this scene. The germs are highlighted in yellow and the roses are in green.

CLUES IN RECTANGLES

In this game you have to look for the pictures that are at the bottom of the page and locate them in the main scene.
Some section can be hard to find if the section has a lot of things going on so always try to look for slight markings that can help you identify the image, a spot, a special color or curve that is unique to that section.

ANAGRAMS

Drag the refrigerator magnets onto the board and unscramble the anagram
As you drag the pieces onto the slots, the letters will lock in place if they are in the right spot. If the piece doesn’t lock in right away, just drag it to another spot.
You will notice that some of the slots are colored. Place matching letters onto the slot to cut down the placement possibilities.
The word that is given to you is "ENCASED IN IVY"
The solution is "CYANIDE VINES"

SKELETON HEXAGONS

There are some hexagons at the bottom of the page. You must look to see where those pieces are located inside of the main scene.
So many pieces look alike that it is best for you to concentrate on the pieces that have some white showing. It will make it easier for you to get through the puzzle.

CHAPTER 2 – MY VAIN HOUR

COLLECT 20 KEYS

There are 20 keys hidden in the scene, find them so that you can help Rose understand her dream.
Some keys are very hard to find so make sure that you look in every corner possible since in most cases all you will see is a faint outline of a key.
Please look at the screenshot for the location of all the items.

MY VAIN HOUR RECTANGLES

In this puzzle you have a picture that is divided in lots of small pieces. At the bottom of the page you have small boxes with pictures on them. Look for the items that are in the rectangles in the scene.
Even after you click on a section it will not disappear off the board.

ANAGRAM

The word you are given in this anagram is "MY VAIN HOUR"
The solution is "HUMAN IVORY"

SILHOUETTES

At the bottom of the page you have some items in silhouette. It is up to you to find those items in the main scene.
Look for items that blend into other things since they have the same color.
The items will not be facing the same way as in the picture

HEXAGON PUZZLE

In this puzzle you will have a picture that is divided into hexagons. Look for pieces that match the solid colors in each piece because it will make it easier to find the items.

CHAPTER 3 – A FLUID CIRCUS

VOODOO NEEDLES

You need to look for 20 teeth in the scene. To look at the picture of the teeth you need to look in the lower right corner of the scene.
Some of the teeth are hard to see because all you can see is a ghostly shadow of the item and they blend in really well with the scene.

LETTER BOXES

In this puzzle you have the picture of a pool that has some letters floating around it.
There is more than one of the same letter in the water. In order for you to pick up the right letters, make sure that the background color matches the one in the letter at the bottom of the page.

ANAGRAM

You are given the words "A FLUID CIRCUS"
The answer is "SULFURIC ACID"

Look for the items at the bottom of the page, the items may not be facing the same in the main scene as they do in the silhouettes.

HEXAGON X-RAY

Everything is in blue and white in this scene so it can be hard to tell one hexagon apart from another. In order to make the search easier, look for teeth marks, bone structure, words etc. that stand out in a section. Each detail that you notice will help you find the items much faster.

CHAPTER 4 – COLT KING IGUANA

FIND 20 THORNS

You have to find 20 thorns in this scene. Some of them are very hard to see because they blend in with the background really well.
Keep in mind that some of the thorns will be red, so they look like part of the scenery.

CHAPTER 5 CRUISE BLANKET

FIND 20 FINGERPRINTS

Some of the fingerprints in the scene may not look like fingerprints at all so some of them can be hard to find. The best way to find them is by looking at items that have small grooves in them in order to make them easier to find.

FIND 20 BOMBS

Some of the bombs look like a shadow or a ball, if in doubt click on it anyway because some items that may not look like bombs actually are. Some of the bombs are red and others just look like a ball of fire.
