Type Soul has come full revival with a major update, and a bunch of minor ones including the sneaky addition of Red Elixir. This Red Elixir Type Soul Guide tells you what this red juice does and how to get it. Spoiler: it’s something you might know about already!

Red Elixir Type Soul Guide

Now, I mentioned that the Red Elixir may be familiar to you when you get to know it. You can loot this Rare item from Karakura Town Shops for cheap 8k Kan. Well, assuming they’re in stock and you’ve been a part of a successful Raid, which is what causes these stores to appear for 30 minutes. Thankfully, if you need to complete a few Raids before getting the Elixir you’ll have at least stashed some Kan aside to afford it.

Got your hands on one? Good! Now, what does it do? The Red Elixir offers 5 Skill Points for a single use. Ring any bells? This item is a rename of the Red Pill. The recent update shows the Red Pill enjoy a new rename to Red Elixir. However, it still offers the same uses. Drinking this juice offers 5 Skill Points for you to upgrade your Skill Tree. Vastocars get lucky with twice the dosage of Red Elixir to be awarded 10 Skill Points. Considering Skill Trees require 25 points for completion this is a pretty decent trade-off for price and useability.

Why The Rename?

Truthfully, I have no idea. It could be for an aesthetic overhaul since Red Elixr looks and sounds more befitting than Pills. As for the Blue and Purple Pill, it’s unknown at the time of writing if they’ll be reinvented as Elixirs in a future update as well.
