That’s where this guide comes in. We’ve played a good chunk of the game and put together this list of the very best hints, tips and tricks that we’ve found for RagDuel.

If you just tap to fire randomly, most of your shots are going to go into the ground. Instead the key to success is to get your arm bouncing so that it’s pointing in the right direction. To do this can take a bit of practice though.
Your arm is swinging a little to begin with, so make sure your first shot is pointing forwards, which will get your arm swinging even more. When your arm reaches the apex of its swing, wait a split second and then tap again. This will give it the impetus it needs. Allow it to swing forward, then back again, and repeat.
Don’t fire the first time you’re aiming at the enemy, wait for another swing. The higher up your shot is aimed, the more damage it’s going to do. Don’t worry about head shots – aim for the chest. Why? Read on to find out.
By the time you’re aiming at the head, your opponent could already have blasted you. That leaves you vulnerable and is going to ruin your aim. Instead, hit the chest to do a big chunk of damage, and then finish your foe off by hitting them again lower down.
You’ll get the same amount of cash whether you shoot an enemy in the skull or blast them in the shin to kill them. You’ve got unlimited bullets as well, so going for the more difficult shot just isn’t worth it.
The cash you get can be spent on cosmetic items, like new hats and chaps, but you should focus your spending on upping your stats. The more powerful your gun, the fewer shots it’s going to take to kill the bad guys.
The more health you’ve got, the more hits you can take before it’s game over. Sure it’s cool having a nice hat, but it’s not going to help you out. You’ll find it much easier to progress in the game when your gun is more powerful, so don’t waste your money on buying coats.
This leads on from the last tip. The more money you’ve got, the more powerful you can make your character. At the end of every level you get a chance to watch a short video to increase your earnings, and it’s well worth doing it.
You’re going to have to watch a video most of the time anyway, so it makes more sense to get something out of the annoyance. It’s especially important to do it after the bonus levels, when you’ll see your winnings rocketing after watching a vid.
