Puzzle Fuzzle is an intriguing new puzzler that challenges you to create an image out of parts of other images. For example, in an early level you’re asked to create a fan. We took the structure of a theme park ride and the top of a windmill to create an impromptu fan.

As you progress, you’ll come across a number of genius puzzles like this one. However, the difficulty does ramp up, so you might need a few handy tips and tricks. Fortunately for you, we’ve got you covered with a bunch we uncovered while playing.

Puzzle Fuzzle Beginner’s Guide – How it Works:

In Puzzle Fuzzle, you have to create a particular object during each level. You’re given a series of other objects and you have to take parts of them to create the object detailed at the top of the screen.

For example, in a level we just completed we had to create a pumpkin. We took the paper section of a Chinese lantern for the pumpkin and the green handle of a knife for the stalk. Just like that, we’d created our own impromptu pumpkin.

Early on, it’s a pretty easy experience, with most of the solutions proving pretty obvious. Quite quickly though, you’ll be scratching your head in total confusion as you just can’t figure out what the appropriate solution is.

The object you have to create becomes increasingly complicated, and you’ll have to rotate objects to figure out where they can sit on your shape. Regardless, it always remains fun as you strive to figure out how to create what the game asks of you.

Puzzle Fuzzle Tips and Tricks:

Now that you understand the basics, let’s take a look at some more specific tips and tricks to help you get through the tricker levels:

  • Don’t overcomplicate it: Typically, Puzzle Fuzzle is looking for the most obvious and cliched version of each object you can create. With that in mind, don’t overcomplicate it. Most objects can be created out of just two items, so look at what you have to work with and try and create whatever it’s asking for in as simple a manner as possible.
  • You may have to rotate objects: You can tap on an object then spin your finger to rotate it, which is essential during many of the puzzles. If something you’re trying isn’t working, try rotating a few of the objects to see if the solution becomes obvious.
  • Break apart the bottom objects to see what you’re working with: If you’re stuck, it can help to break up the objects at the bottom of the screen to see what you have to work with in terms of parts. Often, the solution becomes a lot clearer when you’ve found at least one of the pieces.
  • You can bring back useless parts: If an object isn’t working, you can drag it back to the bottom and leave it there. If you bring something to the main area, it doesn’t have to stay there.
  • Trial and error: Our last tip is just to experiment. You can’t fail Puzzle Fuzzle – not really. Just keep trying combinations until one of them works and don’t beat yourself p if it becomes obvious later. You wouldn’t have got there without the trial and error.
