In Project Mugetsu, a Zanpakuto is a spirit that resides in it’s master’s inner world. It is an extension of a Shinigami’s soul, and the spirit’s powers match up to embody this.
During the game, if you play as a Soul Reaper or an Arrancar, they appear to you as a sort of boss battle that you’ll have to defeat.
Defeating a Zanpakuto isn’t so simple, and there are quite a few steps – but bare with us! You can do this if you follow them correctly.
Now the Zanpakuto boss battle has begun, use all of your abilities in order to defeat it! Successfully defeating the Zanpakuto will unlock a Shikai, and if you keep meditating further, you’ll unlock a Bankai at Level 50.
