Sculpting your very own pots is a fantasy many of us don’t get to fulfil. Some of us don’t have the confidence, others just can’t be bothered to clean up the mess. Either way, Pottery is a nifty little puzzler all about sculpting pots.

Sculpting in Pottery is all about removing excess clay until you are left with a beautiful vase or pot. But, Voodoo wouldn’t release ‘Pottery Simulator’ without adding some twist or obstacle. Find out below how to become the master of all things pottery-related.

Tips, Cheats and Strategies

  • You can’t rush art. Sculpting a pot is similar to painting; if you rush it, you will regret it. In Pottery, if you accidentally trim clay from the green section you will lose a life. Lose all three of your lives and that’s it, your life has gone to pot and you must start again.
  • Look at the guide. Before you sculpt a pot out of clay, you need a good idea of what you are about to sculpt. This means you should glance up to the top right corner and see the desired vase you are supposed to create for this level.
  • Go for green. When you are taking chunks of clay off your lump, you will notice eventually it goes green. This means you’ve hit the desired shape in this area, going any further will cost you a life. You know you are finished when the entire pot is green.
  • There is no time limit. I may have told you not to rush, but this next tip is way more important. Enjoy yourself! Sculpting a pot requires precision, patience and skill. If you keep failing, then you are messing up one of these skills. It’s time to bring out your inner OCD and sculpt some damn beautiful pottery!
