Frenzy Plant is an incredibly powerful Grass-Type move that until recently was accessable only to Venusaur. But now with the March Community Day, you have a chance to evolve a Sceptile with this devestating move. The Treecko Comminity Day begins on March 23rd from 3pm til 6pm, whenever that occurs in your local time zone.

To get this special Sceptile, you’ll need to find enough candies to evolve it from Treecko. That’s a total of 125 candies you need, or 42 Treecko for you to catch! Don’t worry though. As long as you evolve your Sceptile within one hour of the event’s end, you’ll still receive Frenzy Plant. Currently, there’s no confirmed shiny Treecko, so it may be a waste of time to search for one.

Activated Lures will last for 3 hours – the whole event’s duration. You won’t have to go hunting for Treecko, but you’ll still have to work fast. This time around there’s no double candy bonus, so you’ll have to rely on your stash of Pinap Berries.

For the final bonus in the event, Egg Incubators will hatch eggs at 1/4th the distance. So don’t just stick around the one Pokéstop – go on a journey with your new Treecko buddies to evolve the perfect Sceptile!

If it's not about video games, Edith doesn't care about it. She loves adventures and RPGs, her weakness is arcade fighters, and her favourite pokemon is Mr Mime... no, seriously.
