• At the beginning of most levels, you are able to use the hint tab (also referred to as tips) in order to help you with a variety of things. You can get hints for finding objects from a list, putting pictures back together and swapping items from a group. The only instance I saw in which you cannot use the hint button is when you have to “fix a sketch.” You can’t use the hint (tips) button but as you rotate the pieces, once the correct side has been locked in, it will automatically signal you by a glimmering light that will appear. Hints are far and few in between, once you use it, it takes about a minute and a half for it to recharge. I like to use one right at the beginning of the game. It saves me time on the first item and by the time it gets harder for me to see the less obvious items, the hint tab is recharged. 

   

• In some levels you will be asked to find matching pairs, some of them are pretty easy to see and others take a little longer. When you start these levels use a hint button right away so that it will be recharged by the time you need to use it again. When you can’t find any obvious pairs, you can click on random objects until one is highlighted. Once it’s highlighted you know for sure that there is another piece just like it somewhere, so that will give you something to go on. Be careful when you click randomly because if you do it too many times in a fast manner, you will be penalized 20 seconds of your time. The best thing to do while clicking randomly is to wait a few seconds in between so you will not be penalized. 

   

• When you are collecting matching pairs of cards until you clear the table, it’s best to match the ones that have the biggest pile underneath them first. Try to keep for last the cards that don’t have any pieces under them. If you’re stuck you can use the tips tab to help you see the next pair that is available for elimination. 

   

• In the puzzles in which you need to swap pieces in order to form similar groups, it’s a good idea to take a good look at the board. See what the items have in common, and start swapping accordingly. Some items may need to be separated into groups of things they have in common, like all fruits or all land animals etc. Other groups could be things that are derivative of each other, like on one page you a picture of a dinosaur skeleton and on the opposite page you have a picture of a bone. 

   

• There are puzzles in which you have to put an image back together by swapping the small squares with each other. It’s good to focus on a piece that you can tell is the main part of the picture and work from there. For instance, if the goal says;” fix the glasses” try to concentrate on the lens pieces first, since they are the most obvious pieces of the picture. Once you finish putting the lenses back together, you can then concentrate on the outer edges of the picture. You can start from the outer edges if you want, just do it in whichever way works best for you. 

   

• When you have to decipher the words by unscrambling letters, there are a couple of different ways to go about it. You can start by unscrambling the smallest words first like “you” “the” or “and” since they are easiest to do. Then you can try unscrambling the biggest words, try placing different consonants at the beginning of each word and play around with the rest. It may not always be consonants but more often than not, most will start with that instead of a vowel. You can write them down on a piece of paper, pause the game and re-arrange the letters once you figure it out. You can also use the tips section and it will help you by swapping two letters. The only thing is that in that instance you have to figure if one or both letters are in the right place. It all depends on the word, at times both will be correct and at others just one letter will be swapped correctly while using the tip tab. 

   

• In the memory game in which you have to match tiles, it’s best to do small sections at a time. When you do a section that is too big, it may end up confusing you and it will take longer to finish. I usually try to focus on two rows at a time or focus on a small squared area instead. There are several color tiles in each game so if you stay within a certain area it will be easier to remember. 

   

• In the “find the differences” levels you have to look for items that are missing or are not in the same place as the opposite page. Some things will be very obvious and others will be harder to detect. At times, it can be something as simple as a plate that is underneath something else or it could be as obvious a big vase that is no longer in place. 

   

• At the beginning of some levels there is a goal listed of an item that you need to find. That item is usually underneath the next to last item that shows up on the list. For example, on stage 10, level 1, the goal is to find the knife. The next to last item that will appear on the list will be a telescope, the knife will be under the telescope once it’s removed. That will be the case for the majority of the levels that have that kind of goal listed. 

   

• When you have to find items by looking at their silhouette, try to take a good look at the screen before you look for any items. Before you click on any items that you think are a match, look at the specifics and make sure it’s an actual match. A lot of times items can look like the silhouette but it’s not. If it looks like it could be a jug, a bottle or a cup, look at the handles, the shape of the opening etc. to see if they are alike. Some items are very hard to distinguish and that’s when it’s a good time to hit your tips button so you can get some extra help.
