Pick Me Up is the game where you get to be an Uber driver, dropping people off around town. It’s not as easy as just driving people from A to B, there are other cars on the road which you must avoid. If this sounds like a game you would enjoy, then read on for some top tips.

Pick Me Up or Uber Driver Simulator

The aim of the game is simple, pick up several customers and drop them off at their destination unharmed. The more you play Pick Me Up, the more passengers you will have to pick up in a row. Failing just one of these customers means you must redo the level from the start.

Once you’ve made some successful drop-offs, you’ll have cash to burn. You can use your cold hard cash to unlock cool new rides. It costs 1000 bucks to enter a random draw for a new car and depending on what page of the garage you are on will affect what car you get. So if you enter the draw on page one, you will get a car from page one.

Tips, Cheats and Strategies

  • Slow and steady wins the race. The only way you can fail a level is by crashing your car into another vehicle. This means if you approach junctions cautiously, you will never lose. It is a lot more enjoyable to speed through junctions, but don’t expect to never lift your foot off the gas.
  • Speed doesn’t matter. This links to the tip above, but this is more about profit. You don’t earn more money the quicker you drop someone off at their destination. You can take as long as you want and still get the same amount of money for a successful journey.
  • Get new cars. Something to aim for while playing this game is shiny new vehicles. This is important as you need something to work for to keep gameplay feeling fresh. There are cars you can buy with cash, or you can skip to page three and watch four adverts in a row to unlock a vehicle.
  • Double your cash when it’s over 100. If you want to make a quick hundred bucks, then you can watch a video in the garage. But if you play the game normally and make over 100 bucks in one level, then you can double your money at the end. As long as you have made over 100 bucks, then it is worth your time to do so.
  • Control your throttle. Since Pick Me Up is a one button game, the only thing you have control over is your speed. Feather and adjust how long you hold down the throttle to avoid crashing into the first car you see.
