Game Introduction – Pettington Park

Pettington Park is a simulation game from Loot Drop and Zynga. It’s a battle for supremacy stemming from the ages long battle between cats and dogs. You will need to pick your side and be ready to fight for it as best you can. With Gamezebo’s quick start guide, you’ll have all of the tips, tricks and walkthroughs you’ll need to stay ahead of the other side.

Quick Start Guide

Getting Started

Pettington Park

  • To get to playing Pettington Park as quickly as possible, go ahead and click the “Play Now” button at the top of this page.

Pettington Park

  • You will start playing by selecting with side you will be on. Choosing the silhouette on the left side will mean you are on the side of the cats, while the blue silhouette on the right means you are siding with the dogs.

Pettington Park

  • After choosing the side, you will be taken to a customization menu where you can make some quick choices about how your character looks.
  • Being that this is your first time playing the game, you will not have too many options available at first. As you play, you will unlock more of these items for use on your pet.
  • When you’re done customizing your pet (you can choose a Hat, Face accessory, and Costume for it), go ahead and click on Create to continue.

Mini Games

  • One of the biggest features of Pettington Park is playing mini games, and playing them better than the other side. Let’s go over how to play some of these mini games so you have a better understanding of them.
  • First things first, you will need to build the mini game before you can actually play it.

Pettington Park

  • Click on the frame for the Pawchinko game to start building it. For this being your first time building the game, you will be given the materials for it automatically.

Pettington Park

  • After the Pawchinko game has been built, you’ll need to supply it with a worker for it to operate. To acquire this first worker, we need to shake a tree to make a worker appear.
  • Now, an animal will pop out of the tree after a few shakes, you can click on them to use them in your mini game.
  • Click on the Pawchinko game, then on the Finish button to set things in motion one last time before you can start beating your competitors at these games.
  • Go ahead and click on the Pawchinko arcade cabinet to start playing the Pawchinko mini-game.

Pettington Park

  • To play Pawchinko, you need to continuously move your mouse left and right, and then click to release a ball. The ball will then fall and give you a score based on which slot it fell into. (if you’ve ever played the game Peggle, it plays a lot like that).
  • After you’ve used all of your acorns in Pawchinko, you will be given a score, and be shown a meter that shows how well you did against the other side. Keep in mind, however, that the results are delayed by one day.

Pettington Park

  • One way to increase your score is by buying additional items to help you out. Since Pawchinko is a Japanese arcade game, purchasing Japawnese items will boost your score the next time you play. You can find these items in the store under the décor menu.
  • Another mini game you can play is Soccer Match, which has you matching three like-colored shapes together, which will then make them disappear.

Pettington Park

  • You will drop the shapes from the top of the screen, and you can use your mouse to move the shape side to side, and then click to drop it down. The star shapes that appear at the bottom are your friends and are considered “wild cards”. “Wild cards” can be used with any color to create a match.
  • Another important element in Soccer Match is that you are under a time limit. After one minute of play, you will automatically finish the game and shown the results.

Quests

  • If you’ve still got time to spare after playing mini-games, you can also complete quests that will give you additional items, games etc.

Pettington Park

  • An example of a mission is called find Scrufflaw, and is a mission given to the dogs near the start of the game.
  • The mission asks you to “Find Scrufflaw” in the southern portion of the game map. If you scroll down to the bottom of the map, you will likely see Scrufflaw. Click on Scrufflaw to complete the quest.
  • You can see if a character has a quest available if they have a question mark (?) or exclamation point (!) above their head. Click on them to receive the quest they have.
  • If you need a quick reminder of the quest, you can click on the icons on the left side of the screen to view the quest description again.
  • Other missions will have you building other structures, visiting friends, collecting items and more. Keep an eye out for quests when you spot them as they can provide you with coins and XP.
  • In one of the earlier quests, you will be able to visit your head coach, and they will allow you to earn even more XP and coins by completing a few tasks around their park.

Leaderboard

Pettington Park

  • One of the mort important things you can build in your park is the leaderboard. Let’s go over how it’s used and why you should look at it.
  • The leaderboard shows how well you do compared with the world, and how well your faction is doing versus the other kind. Every week the challenges will be reset, so you will need to keep coming back to play more and keep your standing in the game.
  • If you click on the tab to see All Challenges, you can see how well your faction is doing versus the other. If you want, you can also invite friends to play with you and help increase the rank of your faction.

Congratulations!
