The Strange Ore is a rare and necessary material used for upgrades within Peroxide. The method to farm Strange Ore is rather… Strange. Since it isn’t entirely obvious how players are meant to obtain the material. The Strange Ore actually looks a bit like a forbidden snack if I do say so myself, stunting a gummy blue-like appearance and an irregular shape.
So let’s move on to the key information! Strange Ore can be awarded through a few methods which we will detail so you know exactly what to do next time you launch Peroxide.
This is a game mode featured within Peroxide. The goal is for players to rush an area with powerful attacks, usually important locations within the game, and then leave victorious. Currently, players can storm through 4 different tiers of invasion, each more difficult than the last. F-Rank, D-Rank, B-rank and S-Rank. Once the raid is complete, you will be awarded a stat increase in addition to 4 randomized items from a chest. It’s this chest that has the chance of producing the sought-after Strange Ore.
Alternatively, you can participate in the Time Gate Challenge, which is a PvP-focused match-up. This event can be farmed as it regenerates, meaning you can re-enter the lobby multiple times in one session. The Time Gate Challenge farms massive amounts of EXP, as well as a random reward. This, of course, has the chance to be the rather delicious-looking Strange Ore.
