Ever since One Piece Odyssey launched, players who are both veterans of turn-based games and fans of the One Piece franchise have been in search of how to select hard mode for the game. This elusive difficulty setting has been very sort after, as the game has been received as being “too easy”. Luckily, we’ve created a One Piece Odyssey Hard Mode guide, answering the question of whether or not it exists, and if it does – how to activate it.
One Piece Odyssey is the new One Piece RPG based on the manga/anime series of the same name. The game features an expansive open-world, styled with immersive graphics that remain true to the source material. Like we stated earlier, One Piece Odyssey fans have been craving a more difficult game-mode. The reason for this is that some find themselves far too overpowered when playing through the game. So, is there a way of bumping up the difficulty?
The cold, hard truth, as of launch, is no. There is no way for you to change the difficulty setting in One Piece Odyssey.
That’s not to say that the game doesn’t have it’s fair share of challenges. You’ll find that as you get further into the game’s campaign, the enemies get stronger, and the levels are more challenging. While this isn’t a direct solution, it’s all we have.
The developer of One Piece Odyssey has not confirmed whether or not a hard mode will be added in a future update. However, there has been a considerable outcry from fans due to there not being a difficulty setting in the game.
It’s not hard to see the studio adding a One Piece Odyssey hard mode further down the line. The studio has already put so much love and care into this game, so it wouldn’t be surprising if it went the extra mile for the fans.
Of course, this is all speculation, and we repeat: nothing has been confirmed as of yet. For now, we can only hope.
