Omega Wars: Champions of the Galaxy Guide – Tips, Cheats and Strategies

Ludare Games Group has only recently released Omega Wars: Champions of the Galaxy. Omega Wars is a real-time PvP tower clash where the aim of the game is to destroy your opponent’s towers or their massive demon. If you are a little confused, or just want to know tips, then carry on reading!

Omega Wars: Champions of the Galaxy is a game about a war across the galaxy. You have three races to choose from, each of which designed to withstand the other. The three races are Humans, Demons and Phantoms.

Demons are the troublemakers of the galaxy, destroying all other races they stumble upon. Humans and Phantoms have to take up arms to defend themselves from a Demon invasion. There is more to Omega Wars than just attack and defence, you will need several strategies to outwit your opponent.

Tips, Cheats and Strategies

• Bait and switch. A common tactic you can use in strategy games is the old bait and switch. This is where you make it look like you are going one way, but in reality, you are going another. An excellent bait and switch is to place characters that require low mana to spawn on one side. Then save up for some big boys for the other side of the map.
• Use the map to your advantage. In the early arenas, they split the map in two down the sides, so you can either attack down the left or the right. One tactic that often works is to flood one side of the map with as many units as possible, it will force your opponent to deal with many troops on one side, exposing the other.

• Note enemy units. There are a lot of units, especially early in the game, that does little damage and dies quickly. This means it is worth your time to note weak units to avoid spawning them, or to avoid entirely.
• Change up your deck. As you play, you will unlock chests and units to spawn in. This is great as you start off with many cards that are not worth using. I don’t recommend removing all cheap units as sometimes you need to spawn troops ASAP.

• Damage quickly. The more damage you do to an opponent’s towers or to the opponent’s demon, the better. This is the aim of the game, but it also allows you to spawn new troops inside the enemy’s territory. The more towers you destroy the more tiles they will award you, meaning you can spawn your troop’s right up to the enemy.
• Do not panic. There are situations where the enemy will break your lines and an onslaught of units is approaching. This is not ideal, but it is not the end of the game. If you are going to be overrun, then save your mana for strong units. This means you will spawn units that can destroy two or more of the enemy troops rather than going blow for blow with cheap units.

There are many tactics to use in strategy games like Omega Wars, but the important thing is to keep it fresh. Fighting against a large moving demon or static towers is the game’s way of keeping you on your toes. If you fall into a rhythm, then you are easy to defeat!
