Oh~! My Office Guide: Cheats, Tips and Strategies

Oh~! My Office is a time management title that attempts to glamorise the 9-5 shift. Well, kind of. It asks you to take control of a team of workers who slack, make demands, but can also make your company very rich indeed.

As with most time management titles there’s a fair bit to get to grips with, but have no fear. Follow these basic tips and you should find yourself in charge of an incredibly harmonious office in no time at all.

• The eyes have it You have to learn quickly that the eyes are the window to the soul of your employees. If they look askew that means they need a quick tap to keep their focus on the job. One mistake that’s easy to make early on is to tap them when they’re simply thinking though, as the game slightly misleads you into thinking you need to give them a whack when they’re merely deep in thought – ignore those sights flashing when they’re doing this though, as it’ll only end up breaking their morale and losing you valuable cash in the process.

• Pigs might fly Keep an eye out for the pigs that occasionally appear on the office floor. They’ll usually turn up in every stage and must be tapped on repeatedly – you’ll end up getting a decent wedge in return.

• Energy drinks Make sure you top up your team’s energy levels before each stage. You do this via energy drinks you accumulate, but make sure you don’t waste them. Each one restores 50% energy – so if a staff member is at 52% energy you may as well wait until the next level before topping them up.

• Customer satisfaction It’s well worth prioritising your employees over pigs and the like, as one lazy worker can end up resulting in the whole office slacking off. This is because someone who’s actively stopped working takes a bit longer to get back on track due to you having to hold down on their desk to punish them. Often you can find yourself struggling to keep everyone focused once one person’s mind has wandered – and you subsequently won’t get anywhere near generating the income required.

• Daily rewards Make sure you check into the game (or, er, office) to see what daily rewards you’re due – you can often get something that might help you progress past the trickier later stages.
