OCO Guide: Tips, Cheats and Strategies.

Most mobile gamers can admit that they are a sucker for a good puzzle game. Whether you are launching angry birds into greedy pigs or swiping to match three identical candies, there is a game for you.

What is OCO about?

OCO falls on the simplistic side of the puzzle game spectrum. Not because it is easy, but because of the minimalist art style. You play as a small square trying to get all the gold pieces in each level. If that’s not enough for you, there are two other objectives to complete for every level.

One of these objectives requires you to be daring and complete the level in the fewest amount of touches possible. The second is to complete the level as quickly as possible. You don’t have to complete all three objectives in one go, so don’t even try!

Tips, Cheats and Strategies

• Use the Environment. In the first few levels, OCO is trying to show you that to go forward you may need to go backwards. If your cube hits a wall, then he can reverse in direction. Some levels require three or four jumps going clockwise, or one jump going counter-clockwise.
• Think ahead. Once you know that blue panels will launch you upwards and green panels speed you up, you can think two steps ahead. Once you have identified the quickest route or the route with the least taps, then you have done half the battle. It’s then down to individual persistence/skill to get three stars in each level.

• Go for perfect. Normally in puzzle games getting three stars in every level is optional. OCO follows suit, but it rewards your bravery with additional gold pieces. Use these gold pieces to unlock more single player levels.
• Create levels. Once you have played a few levels, you may have ideas for a good level or two. Go to the create tab and see what you can come up, you might surprise yourself.

• Play other levels. If you aren’t a creative person, don’t feel you are missing out. Just head over to the explore tab and try out other players levels. This may inspire you to give creating another chance, or you can just experience weird and wacky creations.
• Try to achieve. There are plenty of achievements in OCO to go out your way for. If you are getting bored with completing levels with no purpose, then these achievements can give your life meaning again.

It’s always refreshing to play a puzzle game full of content and lenient on the advertising front. You can create your own levels, play others and have a merry old time while doing so. What’s not to love?
