New World is one of the biggest MMORPGs of the past few years. It features a wide open world to explore as an adventurer, with a classless system allowing you to change up your play-style on the fly. A tier list is a list of weapons or characters that you can unlock in a game – particularly a gacha game – ordered from best to worst. We rank from S tier to D tier, with S being best and D being worst.
The purpose of a tier list is to help you, the player, determine who the best characters or weapons to unlock are, so you can save time or money. Once you know who the best weapons are, you can choose the best and ignore the others.

However, it’s worth noting that tier lists are subjective by nature. This is based on our experience with the game, but yours may vary. So, we recommend that you take this with a pinch of salt and play New World for yourself.
We split our New World weapons tier list into PVP and PVE as these two modes have completely different styles of play. As such, certain weapons perform great in one mode, and are absolutely dire in another.
