Neon Splash is a curious new arcade title that challenges you to rotate an invisible object filled with water. Whenever the water touches a surface, it makes that surface visible. Your goal is to make the entire object visible using only the ability to rotate.

It’s a strangely addictive affair that’s quite the meditative experience. If you’ve had a rough day at work, solving a few of these puzzles might just relax you enough to get on with life.

To help you master the experience, we’ve put together a few tips and tricks too. By the time you’re done reading them, you’ll be a total Neon Splash master.

Neon Splash Beginner’s Guide – How it Works:

In Neon Splash, your goal is to make a bunch of invisible objects visible, and you achieve this by sprinkling water on the invisible bits.

When you boot up a level, you’ll see a tiny bit of a neon object with water sitting on it. By rotating your phone, you’ll notice that the water follows.

As the water touches other parts of the shape that are invisible, it will make them visible. It should be obvious at this point that you need to make the entire object visible by splashing water all over it.

Early on, the shapes are all pretty simple and obvious, with you merely having to slowly drip the water around the outline to fill them in.

Pretty soon though the difficulty ramps up. You’ll have to content Ruth complex shapes, random objects in the centre of the shape, and many more difficulties.

Neon Splash Tips and Tricks

Now that you understand the basics, let’s take a look at a few specific tips and tricks that should help you master the experience:

  • Slow and steady wins the race: When you first boot up a level of Neon Splash, we recommend sorely spinning the water around the object. That way you should get a solid idea of its core shape, leaving filling in the blanks a doddle.
  • Trial and error is key: Well, trial is key as there isn’t much error. You can’t really fail Neon Splash, you might just take longer to finish a level. Our advice is to experiment if the first tip doesn’t work. Try spinning the object quickly to get the water really churning about.
  • Try and figure out what the object is: It isn’t always possible, but if you can figure out what the object you’re trying to create is, it’s often easier to trace the outline.
  • Keep the water together: Try to keep the water together, as it will fall faster and cover more ground versus it being all over the place. Obviously this isn’t always possible but do what you can.
