My Hero Ultra Rumble Quirks Guide

Let’s learn more about each character’s quirks!

My Hero Ultra Rumble Quirks

You’ll be familiar with the Quirks system if you’ve watched the anime. It works the same in My Hero Ultra Rumble, so you’ll recognise some of the Quirks I’ll cover below! In the game, you can utilise a character’s Quirks in a battle to defeat your opponents.

If you’re unfamiliar with the My Hero Academia franchise, Quirks are special abilities! With 3 teams on the battlefield in My Hero Ultra Rumble, there are 24 players in total wielding their unique Quirks. Each Quirk determines whether a character falls under the support, assault, or disruption role.

  • The game is due to be released on September 28, so there isn’t a lot of information about all of the Quirks just yet! Once the game has been released, I’ll add more information below regarding each character’s roles, Quirks, and Special Actions.

Eijiro Kirishima (Red Riot)

  • Quirk: Hardens his body
  • Specialises in defense and offense
  • Excellent at close-range

Momo Yaoyorozu (Creati)

  • Quirk: Creates weapons, shields, and a canon
    • The shield can be used to protect allies and herself
  • Special Action: Yaoyorozu’s Lucky Bag
    • Create a bag with a random item inside which can synergise with a Recovery Item
  • Specialises in supporting her team

Ibara Shiozaki (Vine)

  • Quirk: Binds her enemies to immobilise them, giving her team a chance to attack the enemy while they can’t move
  • Special Action: Allows Vine to revive allies who have been downed
  • Specialise in the support role

How to Upgrade Quirks in My Hero Ultra Rumble

To upgrade a Quirk, you need to find Skill Cards throughout a stage. These upgrades are temporary, and will last until the match has ended! This is why you need to keep an eye out when exploring the map to make sure that you pick up as many Skill Cards as possible. These Skill Cards will randomly spawn in locations, so there’s no way to know exactly where they will appear!
