Move House 3D Strategy Guide – Pack Better With These Hints, Tips and Cheats

By Harry Slater |

Move House 3D is a game about packing up a moving truck in the most space efficient way possible. It’s essentially a 3D block stacking puzzle, like Tetris but with washing machines and tables and chairs. And it’s pretty darn good.

It can also be pretty darn tough. Especially since the game doesn’t always give you all the information you need to succeed. And that’s why we’ve written you this strategy guide. With these suggestions you’ll be a van-packing superstar in no time flat.

It doesn’t matter if you’re just staring at your first credenza and wondering where it might go, or you’ve already stuffed several foosball tables into a truck – these hints, tips and cheats are guaranteed to help you out.

Tap to turn

One of the most important things you need to know about Move House 3D is that you can turn the pieces of furniture round. Tap them when they’re on the bottom of the screen and they’ll twist 90 degrees. It’s basically impossible to finish a level without doing this, and the game doesn’t actually tell you that you can.

Pass the line

You don’t have to get everything into the removal van, you just have to get enough in to pass a line on the bar at the top of the screen. When you’ve passed it you can tap on the green button to move onto the next level.

Look at what you’ve got

Make sure you scroll through the items you’ve got to fit into the van. See which pieces are going to cause the most problems and take up the most space and try and figure out ways to get rid of them early on. Knowing what else needs to go in will help your decision making process.

Sometimes a restart is easier

If you’ve gone wrong and you’re not going to make it to the line, it’s alright to tap the restart button and try again. In fact, it’s easier than trying to pull everything out of the van to correct your mistakes. Don’t be afraid to scrap it and have another go.

Think about space

There are a variety of different shapes and they all interlock with each other in different ways. Think about how you can use them to take up as much of the space as possible without leaving gaps. That’s how you’re going to win.
