Invasion Mode is a brand new addition to the 3-decade old series, Mortal Kombat. The brilliant minds at NetherRealm have never backed down from trying something daring, and so birthed this zany concept.
Invasion Mode is where RPG meets a board game-like map. This combo invites players to navigate a series of challenges, quests, and traditional Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay except well- like a board game!
The Invasion Mode playthrough will award plays with unlockable skins, in-game currency, stunning concept art, and a few other miscellaneous rewards. I have always been a fan of all things customisable, so introducing a new game mode with dress-up on the hook has me intrigued!
This all-new game mode is also complimentary to the main series and campaign. So whilst it doesn’t hold the same intensity against the story mode, it’d be worth a play to piece together a story from the multiple challenges and opponents you’ll face.
