So that’s exactly what we’ve done. This strategy guide is packed full of all of the hints, tips and tricks we’ve discovered during our time playing MetaFist. We’ve punched, dragged and drilled a whole pack of bad guys, so we know what we’re talking about.
First time fisters and more experienced drillers alike are going to find something to help them out in their quest to smash everything here. So, let’s just cut to the chase, shall we? Here are all the hints, tips and cheats you need to win in MetaFist.
You can grab one enemy with your grappling hook while attacking a second with your drill. Combining your two weapons is the best way to deal with multiple opponents. Alternatively, grab one and throw it at the others to buy yourself some space and time to regroup for an attack.
If any enemies have bazookas, you need to watch out for the rockets they fire at you. Use your grappling hook to snatch them out of the air. Then tap on the enemy you want to destroy to fling the rocket back. It can be tricky, so don’t beat yourself up too much if you miss a rocket.
You can grab boxes and chairs and hurl them at your enemies. There are explosive barrels you can latch on to as well. You can even smash windows and throw attackers out of them. Look at what the game has given you and experiment with the various ways that you can murder your opponents.
The new drills aren’t just aesthetic, they also have different power ratings and cool down timers. It won’t matter much early in the game, but the deeper you get the more power you’re going to need. That means it’s well worth watching the videos to unlock them.
The bosses will attack you in different ways to the goons, so make sure you pay attention to what they’re doing and how they’re doing it. They’ll have armor, they’ll have projectile weapons and if you die you’ll have to watch a video to try again or start the level over from the beginning.
