If you’ve been wondering what the deal is with the new Merge Mansion flower, and what happened to the Tin Can, you’re in the right place. Don’t worry – you’re not the only one that’s confused. Metacore Games made sweeping changes to the hit merge puzzler back in May. As a result, a few things have changed.

Fortunately for you, we’re going to address these changes in this very guide. That way, you can crack on with having just as much fun as you did before. We’ll detail what’s changed with the Planted Flowers item, and how to get access to the Tin Can, which seemingly disappeared. Spoiler alert: it hasn’t.

If you like puzzlers, check out our list of every Apple Arcade game played and rated. It’s full of brain teasers like Merge Mansion, and you don’t have to pay a penny more than the subscription to enjoy them. We’ve also put together a guide to how Cats and Soup furniture works – that’s another game well worth checking out.

What is the Merge Mansion Flower?

Okay, so the long story short is that the Blossoming Bush no longer drops Tin Cans when merged. Instead, you get the new item, Planted Flowers. Naturally, you need to merge the base items to get to the maximum level of the Merge Mansion flower, but you get the gist.

That has, naturally, confused a lot of us, as we previously relied on the Blossoming Bush to get our hands on the Tin Can. However, you can still get that item.

How do I Get the Merge Mansion Tin Can Now?

Fortunately, the Merge Mansion Tin Can still remains, and is relatively easy to get – provided you’ve progressed a bit. You see, you’re going to need the Garden Statue. As long as it’s at least level six, you can simply tap it to get Small Tin Cans, which you can merge to get Tin Cans.

It’s a bit slower than before, but at least there’s still a reliable method of getting Tin Cans in Merge Mansion. As a result, Stone Cans are still within your grasp. If you’ve found another method of getting Tin Cans, or know something about this update that we don’t, please let us know in the comments. We’ll be sure to update this article, and share your knowledge with our audience.
