Marvel Strike Force is celebrating its first birthday in style. Not only is there a new game mode to get to grips with, but there are two weeks of bonuses to enjoy. If that’s not enough to raise your eyebrows, there are plenty more features to talk about below.

1-Year Anniversary changes

For two more weeks, certain aspects in Marvel Strike Force have been boosted. When I say certain aspects, I actually mean quite a few areas. One area that has received a significant boost is the campaign missions. These missions are dropping double gear, character shards and gold in every single campaign.

This anniversary celebration will also see the return of three Event Campaigns voted for by the community. These will most likely be the most popular events from recent times and will give you a second chance to earn certain rewards. Today saw the reappearance of Tiny World, the Ant-Man and Wasp campaign. Plus Block Party, which was an event that allows users to earn a lot of ability fragments and materials.

It’s fair to say that over the next two weeks there will be several events. Some of which will be focused on specific characters, others focused on specific rewards like gold or ability materials. Keep your eyes peeled for more, as these events will be over in a flash!

How do I make the most of these changes and events?

To make the most of the changes that have been temporarily introduced, you will need to be spending your campaign energy all the time. It’s now better value than ever to auto-win missions or to carry on with certain campaigns.

If you are a couple of shards away from upgrading or unlocking a new character in a campaign, now is your time to go for it. If you have unlocked most characters, then now is your time to upgrade them. If you click on your roster, you can see what materials you need to craft certain gear. When you click the “Find” button in the bottom right corner, it will show you a series of missions where these materials can drop as a reward.

Materials that are usually scarce are now dropping at double the rate. So, go through your roster and start auto-winning any missions that drop the materials you need. It’s up to you whether you make your best characters stronger, or allow your weaker units to play catch up.

To sum up, you need to play the game more. Previously you could auto-win 10 missions and get no character shards or none of the materials you need. This can still happen now, but with double drops on everything, it is unlikely. So, keep playing and recharging your campaign energy and don’t forget to give other game modes a go too.
