Updated with new Challenges!

Mario Kart Tour Halloween Tour Challenges Guide will not only provide you with an online list of the latest set of Mario Kart Tour challenges, but we’ll also help you beat them.

There are three sets of challenges per tour. The first two sets are free and launch on a weekly basis, with the first set available now and the second arriving next Wednesday.

The third set is exclusive to Gold Pass members and is available right away, much like the first set.

Mario Kart Tour – Halloween Tour Challenges:

Halloween Tour Challenges 1:

ChallengeTips
Land 3 hits with Red ShellsSuper easy, and you can perform this across numerous races.
Get a Fantastic combo a total of 5 timesA Fantastic combo kicks off at x9, which involves pulling off nine different actions in a row. We recommend using a glider with a 3x combo boost to increase the amount of time between actions.
Do 100 Jump BoostsYou can complete this over multiple races, so leave it as a long term goal.
Take out 5 SidesteppersSidesteppers are crabs, and you’ll find them on the very first Cup on Koopa Troopa Beach. To take them out, hit them with something or driver over them while you’re big.
Earn a score of 6,000 or higher using a driver wearing a shellThere are loads of shell-wearing drivers in Mario Kart Tour, including Koopa Troopa, Dry Bones, Iggy, Larry, Lemmy, Ludwig, Morton, Roy, Wendy, Bowser, Lakitu, Bowser Jr., and Dry Bowser.
Flatten opponents 3 times during racesYou can flatten an opponent by driving over them while a Mega Mushroom is active or by driving over opponents who have been struck by your lightning.
Earn a score of 7,000 or higher using a driver with a mustacheDrivers with a mustache includes Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Mario (Musician), and Mario (Hakama).
Cause opponents to crash 10 times in a single race using a driver wearing a tieDonkey Kong and Mario (Musician) are the only two drivers that wear a tie in Mario Kart Tour.
Land 5 hits with Bob-ombs in a single race using a driver with an extended tongueKing Boo, King Boo (Luigi’s Mansion), and, of course, Yoshi can all extend their tongues. Use one of these three along with a glider that increases your chances of getting a Bob-omb, preferably on a track that they can get three items on to increase your chances of getting a Bob-omb.

New! – Halloween Tour Challenges 2:

ChallengeTips
Do 5 Rocket StartsCan be done over numerous races.
Land 5 hits with BananasPlay as Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, or Morton, and use a Glider that increases your chances of getting a Banana.
Get 1st place 3 times in a row in races 100cc or aboveIf you’re struggling, drop to 100cc, as it’s easier to win matches than 150cc or higher.
Take out 5 traffic conesPlay A Neo Bowser City course.
Do 30 Mini-Turbo boosts in a single racePlay Yoshi’s Circuit on 50cc and just keep pulling off Mini-Turbo boosts.
Land 10 hits with BoomerangsPlay as Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, or Larry on a course that offers them three items and just repeat until the challenge is done.
Cause opponents to crash 10 times in a single race using a driver wearing a crownPlay as King Boo, Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, Baby Rosalina, Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, or Peachette and choose a long course like Yoshi Circuit or Mario Circuit. Make sure the character you choose brings three items with them.
Land 5 hits with Green Shells in a single racePlay as Koopa Troopa, Dry Bones, Iggy, or Lakitu on their favoured course – preferably with plenty of long stretches, like Rainbow Road or Luigi’s Mansion and use a Glider that increases your chances of getting a Green Shell.
Earn a score of 7,000 or higher using a driver with a hatPlay as Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Mario, Luigi, Diddy Kong, Wario, Waluigi, Metal Mario, Mario (Musician), or Rosalina (Halloween) on their favoured course and aim to get a Frenzy or two.

Gold Challenges:

ChallengeTips
Use LightningUse a glider that increases your chances of getting Lightning and play as a character that can bring three items to a race. Then, hang back and wait until you get Lightning.
Do a total of 10 Slipstream BoostsYou can perform this over numerous different races. To perform a Slipstream, simply drive close to another racer until you get a boost.
Activate Frenzy mode 3 timesYou activate Frenzy mode when you get three of the same item. This requires using a driver on its favoured course.
Get 1st place in a 200cc race 3 timesGood luck with this one. We recommend using a short track like Ghost Valley and just keep trying until you’re done with this hideous challenge.
Land 3 hits with Bob-ombs in a single raceUse a driver with double Bob-ombs or the Bob-omb Cannon on their favoured course and use a glider that increases the chances of getting a Bob-omb.
Do 10 Ultra Mini-Turbo boosts in a single raceThis is a tricky one to pull off, as you’ll need to find a windy road to race on. We recommend doing this on 50cc, to allow you for time to pull off a bunch of Ultra Mini-Turbo boosts.
Earn a score of 6,000 or higher using a driver with hornsDrivers with horns include Bowser, Bowser Jr., and Dry Bowser.
Land 3 hits with fireballs in a single raceUse the likes of Mario or Luigi to get the fireball special skill and play them on their favoured tracks.

Use any of the three on their favoured courses with the best glider and karts and race on 150cc. You shouldn’t have too much trouble reaching 8,000 points if you aim for first place.
