When an area turns green it means you’ve done enough to satisfy the client and can move on to the next. Sometimes there are multiple areas on the same face that you need to turn green, so wait until they all have before you tap the done button to move on to the next section.
There’s a circle that slowly fills up when you’re moving an instrument around. When it’s full, it’ll start placing makeup, whether or not it’s in the right position. If it’s about to fill up and you haven’t reached the place where you want to apply the makeup, lift up your finger and wait for the circle to empty. It takes longer, but you won’t be scrawling in inappropriate places on your client’s face.
There’s no change to the gameplay here, you’ll just get more money for completing the tasks. It’s definitely worth doing if you want to fill up your coffers to upgrade the various parts of your cosmetics empire.Â
When you’re given the chance to unlock new items, you should definitely take it. It’ll mean watching a video, but the new items add more strings to your bow. The more tools you have, the more variety there is to the game and the more fun you’re going to be having. It’s a bit of a no-brainer really.
In some sections there are no green outlines to tell you when you’re done. Instead when you’ve completed a section satisfactorily, you’ll get a burst of white stars. They don’t last very long, so keep an eye out for them so you know when you can move on to the next section. Most levels there are multiple starbursts for different parts of the face, so make sure you get them all.
