Lyrical Letters from Frosty Pop is a game that some will most definitely find easier than others, this guide will make solving each puzzle simple if like me, you are not musically inclined. The short walkthrough gives all the information for playing the game: notes will sound, replay the notes and submit your answer. Instead of that being it, the game uses the letters of the musical notes to spell a word, adding another dimension to this soothing puzzle game.

There are no lives, scoring systems, leader boards or punishments, this game is just here to have fun. It gives an open-ended trial and error atmosphere, so you have all the time in the world to get the right answers, whether you choose to play it as a memory game, a musical, or a word hunt puzzle. Either way it’s a nice way to relax and possibly fine tune your musical ear. If you still want the best chance to solve every puzzle, here it is.

Tone deaf

If you are musically inclined, this will be a cake walk and the difficulty only comes from the memory aspect. If you make a mistake though, just backtrack and re-listen to the puzzle tones as many times as you like. The dial lets you choose between eight different sound styles, so finding one that works best for you is fast. I went with piano, as it had the cleanest sound to me.

If, like me, you couldn’t pick a note to save your life, look at this as a word game instead. The words start off at two or three letters, and there are only the letters from A – G to work with, so realistically there aren’t too many options. Also, each letter only appears twice, except C which is three times. This means that if you know the word there is a 50/50 chance getting most of them right the first time.

Sneaky clues

Using the HINT button shows you the clue for the word, most of them are straightforward. Be warned; slang makes an appearance here, with words like Bae, so don’t worry about the answers being too high-brow, like many word games.

Enter the letter B, then play the tones if you aren’t certain, and delete or go on from there. The answer doesn’t automatically submit and there is no time limit, so take the time to find the right notes. Then again, if you just want to bang away on the cute little keyboard, do that too, you can even record and share your creation.
