Overwhelmed by choice and unsure which starting combat style you’d like to enter the game with within Lies of P? In this guide, we cover the Lies of P Strength Build. Learn all you need to know about this particular route, which has a great impact on your early game playthrough.

Lies of P takes you to the disturbed city of Krat. You awaken as a puppet created by Geppetto to the bloodthirst of unimaginable monsters and madness that plague the city. This game takes the childlike story of Pinocchio and completely flips it on its head, with a dark yet elegant tale, and visuals to match. This gore-fest invites you to untangle secrets, adapt yourself to weapons, and face the unfathomable horrors.

Lies of P Strength Build

Brute Route!

Strength Build Weapon

Path of the Sweeper is the Strength Build route, which begins you off with high Motivity and low Technique. You’ll be equipped with a starting weapon called the Greatsword of Fate, which is, of course, a Greatsword. This massive weapon deals heavy damage to enemies, however, the drawback costs you faster draining Stamina and slower swings when in combat.

The Strength Build makes for an easier time adjusting to the combat within Lies of P. The heavy damage Greatsword cuts through the early game enemies with some amounts of ease due to it’s high power stats, making the experience more forgiving than the other builds. The giant weapon you obtain with this build can also absorb damage through regular blocking, making your attacks stagger enemies, leaving them open to execution moves and slaying them in fewer hits.

What If I Change My Mind?

If you picked Path of the Sweeper and realised this build isn’t for you then you can change your mind at any time! If you are the type of player who doesn’t fight with fancy techniques or struggles to parry, we recommend you stick to Path of the Sweeper. However, feel free to prove us wrong and pick one of the remaining two builds! We covered the Dex build here, Lies of P Dex Build Guide.
