Lies of P takes you to the disturbed city of Krat. You awaken as a puppet created by Geppetto to the bloodthirst of unimaginable monsters and madness that plague the city. This game takes the childlike story of Pinocchio and completely flips it on its head, with a dark yet elegant tale, and visuals to match. This gore-fest invites you to untangle secrets, adapt yourself to weapons, and face the unfathomable horrors.

Firstly when you start Lies of P, you can choose between 3 starting playstyles. If you’re striving towards a certain type of build, then this selection is pretty important for your playthrough. However, if you’re not too bothered about sticking to one type of playstyle, don’t worry! You can equip all types of weapons and improve your other stats as you progress through the game.
This path equips you with a deadly Puppet Saber, which is a balanced weapon. This build is typically known as a “quality” build, as the intention is to evenly distribute statistics. As a result, this creates a balanced player who is well rounded without having any major strengths or drawbacks in any one direction.
Secondly, this pathway is extremely flexible if you change your mind later game for another build class. However, sticking to the balance class you will have an easier time becoming a fighting beast! Weapons can be adjusted to have good damage scaling across a number of attributes.
As a result, the Path of the Cricket is the most beginner friendly class given its wide flexibility for both general statistics, and changing class.
