Legacy Piece has a unique path of progression as opposed to other One Piece-inspired games on Roblox. This Legacy Piece Beginners Guide helps you start the game so you know what to do first and how to play!

Check out Legacy Piece over on Roblox. For more helpful Legacy Piece guides check out my Legacy Piece Island Level Guide and our All Legacy Piece Races and Buffs guide.

Legacy Piece Beginners Guide

Beginning your Legacy Piece journey you’ll see three title cards. Customise, Play and AFK. Begin with customising and creating your unique character using the many mix-n-match features. In the bottom right of the customised screen, you’ll spot a “Spin Menu” widget.

Spin Menu

The Spin Menu is where you roll for an assigned race. Upon joining Legacy Piece you are given 3 free spins, however, if you want more you’ll need to redeem codes or buy them via Robux. Races offer multiple buff stats and unique cosmetics depending on which you spin for. Ideally, you’ll want to roll for Oni or Fishman, the favourable two of the lot.

Legacy Piece Mechanics

Upon loading into the main game, you’ll be on Fusha Island. Before you jump into quests, let’s learn the control and interface basics. In the bottom left of your game is a ship’s wheel with multiple bars of progress including your Level, Beli, Health, EXP and Stamina in that order. To access more mechanics, press M (or the same key bind) to open the Menu page with settings, inventory, shop, crew and help.

Open your inventory and equip the fist-fighting style into any slot. I’d recommend 1 for clarity. Now it’s finally time to explore and meet the NPCs.

Your First Quests

As you traverse important locations on each Island, you’ll notice Green Crystals on the floor. These serve as your spawn anchor to change your spawn location if you perish. The first one is located outside near the Party’s Bar, which is also your first stop for missions.

Missions are assigned when you speak to an NPC. Those with a blue exclamation mark are story quests, whilst those with golden are side quests. You may repeat both quest options to level up. Head inside and speak to the Makino NPC behind the bar for your starting quest.

Legacy Piece Progression

After becoming familiar with combat through missions and quests, you’ll have reached level 15 and will be ready to move to the next island to discover new bosses, loot, NPCs, fight styles and more! To leave an island, speak to the Ship Sailor NPC to purchase a boat using Beli and sail to the next destination following the game waypoints.

Each island you visit has a unique main boss and a level requirement before you can move on. This will indicate your progress, if you’re unsure check out the Island Guide linked above.

How To Get New Fighting Styles

If you don’t want to stick to the Fist style permanently you’ll be glad to know there are multiple other options. Across all islands is a weaponry shop, or if you’re lucky you can get weapons as loot drops from bosses. If you’re after something more flash, Legacy Piece has Haki, Blackleg and Electro trainers scattered across islands for you to find and train under. Of course, no One Piece game would be complete without Devil Fruits.

Devil Fruits spawn under trees every 40 minutes across all the islands. I would recommend searching on Fusha island in the forest as this island has the most dense population of trees.

It seems you've stumbled upon my bio! I'm Sho, your local weeb. Off the clock I am typically watching anime, reading manga, or doing art. I think it's safe to say that all my unpaid thoughts revolve around anime... That said, watch One Piece! (Or don't I'm just a biography.)
