Nothing to do with singing…

If you have an Innate Technique, you’ll need to know about Chanting. You can spin for different Innate Techniques, with each one having a different rarity.
Chanting amplifies your Innate Techniques, making them stronger. You can combine some abilities within an Innate Technique through chanting, creating a powerful attack. Keep in mind that not all Innate Techniques can Chant. Mostly those with a lower rarity such as common and uncommon are unable to.
Before you can Chant, you will need to purchase the Chanting Node. You can find this in the Technique Skill Tree. Once purchased, you will be able to perform Chants. A node called ‘Chant Proficiency’ is also available. When unlocked, it increases the damage of your Chanted Moves depending on how far you have upgraded that node (2%/4%/6%).
After you have the Chanting Node, you need to fill up a focus bar. To do this, you can damage NPCs, players, or other enemies you come across. Once it has fully filled up, right-click and a diamond will appear on your screen. If you don’t see a diamond, that means the bar hasn’t filled up yet!
If you see a diamond, the techniques that can be Chanted will appear highlighted in purple. From there, all you need to do is use the ability on your opponent.
