Journalist Journey: The Eye of Odin Walkthrough
Welcome to the Journalist Journey: The Eye of Odin walkthrough on Gamezebo. Journalist Journey: The Eye of Odin is a hidden object game played on PC created by Namco Networks. This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints, and a strategy guide to how to complete Journalist Journey: The Eye of Odin.

General Information
Main Menu
- The Play button starts the game with the currently selected profile.
- The Options button opens a window where there are slider bars to adjust sound and music volume. There are screen options to switch between wide screen, full screen and windowed mode, and there is also an option to mute all sound.
- The Not You? Button displays the profile window where profiles can be selected, created and deleted.
- The Credits button shows a scrolling list of people that were involved in making this game.
- The Exit button exits the game if Yes is selected or returns to the main menu if No is selected.
How to Play
- The default cursor in the game is the rune arrow. Move the cursor around the screen until it changes. The magnifying glass will appear over objects that can be examined for a close-up view, a moving gears icon will appear when an inventory item needs to be used on an object, and a hand icon will appear over quest objects that become available after a hidden object scene has been completed.
- The hidden object scenes present a list of objects that need to be found, where the aim is to click on objects to removed them from the list. Many of the objects to be found on the list are random and will not be the same from one game to the next. The exceptions are items in red text which are found in close-up views by examining other objects in the scene, and items which are added to the inventory after the scene has been completed.
- After the hidden object scene has been completed, one or more tasks will need to be completed. Special quest objects become available which when found are added to the inventory, and these quest objects can then be used to complete the tasks. Sometimes, the map button at the bottom-right corner of the screen will sparkle. This means that objects in another location need to be found before the current location can be completed.
- Pressing the hint button circles the area where an object is located. To target a specific object, click on it in the object list and then click the hint button. After a hint has been used, it takes 90 seconds for the hint newspaper to become active again.
- Clicking too quickly causes the cursor to move uncontrollably for 5 seconds, and no objects can be selected when this happens.
- There are various mini-games that are encountered in the main adventure. A skip button to automatically complete these mini-games becomes active after a set time, which ranges from 15 seconds to 2 minutes. The tutorial button can be pressed at the top-right corner of the screen to give a summary of what needs to be done in every mini-game.
