I go over everything you need to know in my Iron Soul Dungeon Pets guide, including how to get Pets and which you can obtain. For those new to Iron Soul Dungeon, I’ve got another guide that may be useful.

Check out my Iron Soul Dungeon Races guide. Meriel has also ranked all races in an Iron Soul Dungeon Tier List.

Iron Soul Dungeon Pets

Pets are pretty rare in Iron Soul Dungeon, but when you manage to get multiple copies of them, you can upgrade them.

All Pets

There are currently three pets to obtain in Iron Soul Dungeon, two of which are F2P-friendly.

Icy Dragonet

To get the Icy Dragonet, you need to hatch Ice Dragon Eggs, which are of Legendary rarity. To get these eggs, you must take part in Expeditions and visit the Abandoned Courtyard.

Divine Dragonet

For the Divine Dragonet, hatch Divine Dragon Eggs. Like the Ice Dragon Eggs, Divine Dragon Eggs are gathered from expeditions and the Abandoned Courtyard.

Phoenix Kitsune

The only way to get the Phoenix Kitsune is by purchasing the Flame Spirit Pack. This game pass costs 1,299 and can be bought 9 times. Each time you purchase the Flame Spirit Pack, the Phoenix Kitsune gets stronger, as you can upgrade pets with multiple copies.

How to Get Pet Eggs

As mentioned, Pet Eggs are obtainable via Expeditions, though they have a very small drop chance. The same goes for the Abandoned Courtyard. Both methods have a super low chance of dropping Pet Eggs.

Expeditions

Expeditions require you to have spare pets. You can send them out on these little adventures to collect Gold, with a small chance of coming back with a Pet Egg.

Whilst a pet is embarking on an Expedition, you cannot do anything with them, and you must wait for them to come back.

Abandoned Courtyard

The Abandoned Courtyard is useful when collecting resources used to level up your pets. There are 4 difficulty levels: Trial [Easy], Challenge [Normal], Penitent [Hard], and Torment [Expert].

To enter any of these levels, you need at least one Cave Ticket. Like Dungeons, the Abandoned Courtyard can be explored with up to 4 other players.

  • Trial [Easy]
    • Drops:
      • Dragon Claw
      • Whole Scale
      • Broken Scale
  • Challenge [Normal]
    • Drops:
      • Dragon Claw
      • Dragon Horn
      • Whole Scale
  • Penitent [Hard]
    • Drops:
      • Dragon Horn
      • Dragon Tear
      • Dragon Claw
  • Tormet [Expert]
    • Drops:
      • Dragon Tear
      • Dragon Horn

How to Hatch Eggs

Visit Ali to hatch eggs in your inventory. When speaking with this NPC, select the ‘Egg Hatching’ option. You can then pick which egg you want to hatch. As an egg hatches, there’s a timer. Once the time runs out, it’s time to obtain your pet.

Upgrading Your Pets

To upgrade pets, you need to speak with Ali and select the option “Pet Enhance and Ascend”. You can then choose which pet you want to upgrade.

Enhancing and ascending your Pets makes them stronger overall.

Enhancement

The resources you collect from the Abandoned Courtyard, as well as Gold, are used to enhance your Pets. Unlike Armor, there is no chance to fail when enhancing Pets.

Ascension

To ascend a Pet, you need to use another copy of the same Pet. Doing this increases the Pet’s star level.
