Infinity Nikki Custom Ability Outfits

With the release of 1.5, the question on everyone’s lips is, “How do I make custom ability outfits?”. Don’t worry, as I was thinking the same when I first logged in! The short answer is that it isn’t available immediately, and you must unlock it via a quest.

How to Unlock Custom Ability Outfits

When you first log in after the 1.5 update, you are thrust into a cutscene where Nikki arrives in a new world, meeting the Seer. You must continue with this new main story questline.

You’ve got a few quests to do, which you need to complete to gain access the custom ability outfits feature! These are all part of the quest chain, so you won’t miss them. The Seer asks you to complete three trials, which require using your abilities in various scenarios. After this, head back to the Seer to unlock the system.

Unfortunately, there is no other way around this, and it isn’t an automatic feature you have access to with the arrival of 1.5. It shouldn’t take too long, but it makes sense lore-wise, as Nikki needs to learn how to create custom outfits.

What are Custom Ability Outfits?

Custom Ability Outfits are a new addition to Infinity Nikki, where you can create full outfits for your abilities rather than being locked to the original.

For instance, you can create a fully custom outfit for fishing, animal grooming, bug catching, and more. Before this, you were stuck with the outfit that comes with the ability, unless you obtained a new one from the wishing banner.

It’s a great new feature, as the limitation of being locked to a specific outfit wasn’t amazing, considering the game revolves around fashion! I already have quite a few ideas for my ability outfits, especially the fishing and floating.
