Hunter Era Meruem Guide

Meruem wasn’t a Nen option on the launch of Hunter Era but made a quick entry within its first update. This Legendary Nen ability has a rare 1% roll chance when spinning for your Nen with the Nen Master NPC. The Nen Master has a striking resemblance to our favourite Hunter x Hunter protagonist, Gon and you find him on Whale Island.

Once located, interact with him to trigger the Nen pop-up window. Here, you reroll your Nen ability, Hatsu, and Hatsu Colour. Rerolls sadly aren’t free, but they do have a few obtainment methods:

  • Codes – Redeeming codes for Nen Rerolls is a quick way to stock up, however, Codes expire often and are for one-time use.
  • Robux – Sinking into your Robux makes Hunter Era no longer F2P friendly, but is an easy way to get the Nen Rerolls you need.
  • Daily Quests and Logins – Sometimes if you’re lucky, a Daily Reward from the Group, Login, or Quest roster will offer Nen Rerolls as a reward.

Meruem Nen Ability

Meruem offers a multitude of attacks on its Mastery roster. These movesets are high-damage and vary between close-range, AoE and Aerial attacks giving the player a huge combat advantage. This Nen also offers a passive called Meruem Immortal, which when active gives the player a 50% DMG reduction intake for 24 seconds.

Is Meruem The Best Nen?

Well, this is subjective to playstyle and taste. But, I do have some thoughts on this Nen ability. Given its rarity status, attack potential and passive it is certainly one of the best Nen abilities in Hunter Era. A close second would be the Legendary Killua Nen for its high-speed, high-damage and versatile attacks.
