It’s gonna take some grinding to be able to unlock Titan Shifting, but it’s worth it!
Firstly, your character needs to be level 150. This is because you can only upgrade to Prestige 6 by reaching level 150 – Titan Shifting is locked behind Prestige level 6! You’ll need to work through a ton of missions to earn enough EXP to reach the higher levels – warning: it’s gonna take some time. The actual ability in-game is called “Attack Titan” and it lasts a total of 75 seconds while in combat.
Reportedly, it feels pretty slow compared to using your ODM gear, but the novelty of being able to attack as a titan is pretty rewarding in itself! You’ve got just over a minute to unleash heavy and lethal attacks toward your enemies, but remember to keep your overall speed (or lack thereof) in mind before you get swarmed.
Once you’ve unlocked Titan Shifting, you can head to Armein in the town square to receive a new questline.
One of these quests includes a major boss fight, so make sure you’re prepared for it! It’s important to note that the boss scales off of the amount of players in the server taking part in the battle, so it’s recommended to do this fight on private server if possibleAs expected, the Colossal Titan is extremely slow, but it can basically one-shot all enemies!
