It’s time to farm for your aura.
An easy ability to master once you’ve got it, many players are wondering how to manifest their aura in VV Ultimatum in the first place. Whilst it’s an optional passive skill to unlock in VV Ultimatum, it’s highly recommended for Soul Reapers, Hollows, and Quincies alike.

To unlock the passive ability to manifest your aura, you first need to spend your Soul Tokens in the Miscellaneous Skill Tree. Due to how skill trees work, you’ll have to unlock some of the branches before getting to it, so make sure to save up.
The required node is Spiritual Potential, which costs 250 Soul Tokens. You also need to be at least level 25.
If you’re low on Soul Tokens, you can consume or sell any Soul Essence or Great Soul Essence in your inventory. I recommend selling them, as you’re guaranteed the maximum amount of Soul Tokens, whereas consuming them only grants a chance.
Next, you need to head to the Outskirts to find The Precipice. Press the C key to display specific locations on your screen if you can’t find them.
Make your way to The Precipice in search of an NPC with black hair. She grants you the quest, which, upon completion, rewards you with the ability to manifest your aura.
Once unlocked, you get a new bar, which is the Aura Meter. It should appear underneath your Reiatsu bar.
To fill the Aura Meter, you need to battle against other players. Upon the bar being filled to 100%, you can manifest your aura, granting you access to a variety of stronger abilities, temporarily.
Think of it like an overarching short-term buff. To activate the aura mechanic, you need to press the G key on your keyboard. If this doesn’t work, check your keybinds.
Eventually, or straight away if you’ve farmed enough, you can unlock the next upgrade. This is the Spiritual Pressure node in the Miscellaneous Skill Tree. The upgrade itself allows you to deal more damage to weaker opponents.

When using this passive ability, the amount of Reiatsu it costs and the cooldown time differ depending on your level.
Whilst it’s a powerful passive ability to have, it relies on battles being long enough for the Aura Meter to fill up to 100%. Of course, you can just keep fighting different players until you can activate it, but still.
Overall, it’s recommended to unlock as soon as possible, just because of the sheer strength it gives you for a short period of time. If you’ve got spare Soul Tokens and you’re level 25 or above, it’s definitely worth unlocking.
At least if you have it, you know it’s there to use when you need it. If another player uses their Aura Meter against you in battle, you can give them a taste of their own medicine in retaliation.
