How To Get The World in A Universal Time

The World is based on the stand used by Dio from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, particularly Part 3: Stardust Crusaders. It works best as a melee attack, as it doesn’t have a large amount of range. Though, you can get a hit while standing slightly further away from your opponent.

A Universal Time does an excellent job of replicating Dio’s The World Stand with the in-game cosmetic, including the yellow/gold suit, gauntlets, and the little details that all Jojo’s fans will know.

Obtaining Shadow DIO

The obtainment method for The World is a little complicated, but not in a difficult sense, just length-wise. There are 2 routes to go down when unlocking The World, but they both have prerequisites that may set you back a bit.

Firstly, you need to have Shadow DIO before you can start any of this. Follow these steps:

  • Search Fallen Meteorites to find Stand Arrows (they are found randomly across the map)
  • Collect Standless (you can do this by speaking with Pucci)
  • Combine Standless with Stand Arrows in hopes of obtaining Shadow DIO

You can also get Shadow DIO Shards when summoning on the Ability Banner. They must be of the Common variant, and you need at least 1 Stand Arrow to combine them. Doing this crafts your own Shadow DIO!

Blood of Joseph

The Blood of Joseph is the next required item. The only way to obtain this resource is by interacting with Him with Shadow DIO equipped. You then need to complete his quest and use the Blood of Joseph to evolve Shadow DIO into The World. There’s also a chance of the Blood of Joseph dropping when opening Loot Crates.

The aforementioned quest involves defeating standard DIO, draining 350 Blood, and both dealing and receiving 5K DMG in total. If you manage to get 5 The World Shards, you can just craft it instead!
