Most games are content with giving their players a double jump to play with, but Grimoires Era isn’t most games. In fact, it lets you chain up to six consecutive jumps (a sextuple jump?), provided you know how to get the Awakened Jump in Grimoires Era.

Grimoires Era is a Roblox RPG based on the smash hit manga and anime series Black Clover. It lets you develop a character and hone their magical skills in a wide open world packed with enemies and quests. One such quest will allow you to ‘awaken’ your jump, greatly increasing your jumping prowess and improving your vertical mobility. In this guide, we’ll walk you through it.

Grimoires Era is free to play right now via Roblox. For more wizarding goodness, check out our Grimoires Era Grimoire tier list!

How To Get The Awakened Jump In Grimoires Era

Before you can pursue the Awakened Jump in earnest, you’ll first need to amass 10,000 Yen. This is a lot of money, particularly early on, so some farming will likely be needed before you have enough. If you’re struggling to save up, you can check out our guide on how to get Money in Grimoires Era for some top tips. One of which, interestingly enough, is literal farming.

Talking To Xeco

Once you’ve got 10,000 Yen in hand, you’re ready to awaken your jump. To do so, you’ll need to track down an NPC known as Xeco. You’ll find him behind a house south-east of your starting location, surrounded by patches of yellow sand. He offers to help you master the art of jumping in exchange for 10,000 Yen. Accept his offer, and you’ll immediately start a new quest.

Completing The ‘Use Double Jump’ Quest

This quest is very simple: All you need to do is perform 100 double jumps. There’s no real special trick to this, you simply need to perform the same action 100 times in a row. If you’re not keen on jumping on the spot for minutes at a time, you can go about your regular gameplay and likely rack up 100 double jumps naturally fairly quickly.

Once you’ve finished the quest, your jump will be awakened! You’ll now be able to perform six consecutive jumps in a row rather than your usual two. This is a very useful ability to have, both for combat and platforming sections.
